SOUND OFF: Which Would You Rather See? Mitt Romney as President or the NFL Refs Get Back To Work?
Funny thing is I think more Americans care more for their sports than the Government that controls much of their lives.
It only happened a few hours ago but I’m already tired of ESPN, Sports talk even general news being dominated by the incompetence of these Division III referees who are filling in for the regulars. I’m sure if I had a dog in the fight I’d care more perhaps but my team is 2-1 and, as yet, not effected by the any errors as egregious as last night.
Now one thing I know, and quite frankly love about the Nation, is its objective and represents a wide spectrum of interests. Over the years I’ve posted sports related content and much to my chagrin have only received a luke warm reception. Conversely, I know that not everyone agrees with my taste in politics either. So I poke fun of both sports with this question, tongue firmly planted in cheek.

Actually I’m still hoping for an Obama win and a takeover of Congress (by a large majority) by the GOP. The thinking being that a Lame Duck Obama for four years will probably do less damage than a First Four Years of a Romney Administration. With any luck, some good old fashioned gridlock will slow these idiots down a bit.

That’s a tough one…only because although I can’t stand the replacement refs, I am just dying to see a coach or player snap on them this season and literally knock a ref out!
