Did Bill Clinton Win the Election for Obama Or Did He Overshadow Him? #DNC
Did Clinton sway voters or remind them that Obama isn’t as good as he was?
No one will ever mistake Bill Clinton with one of the most eloquent orators in history but aside from Notorious B.I.G. he might be the best storyteller. At last night’s DNC, in a 50+ minute speech he weaved a story of how Barack Obama’s presidency thus far is deserving of a second term. Whether or not he is, Clinton sure made you believe it was so. He reminded Democrats and Republicans alike of a time of prosperity prior to the George Bush debacle. But too much so?
Right Wing talkies have been stationed at the DNC to pick apart the speeches and platform in rebuttal. However, following the Michelle Obama speech and particularly the Clinton speech, they were hard pressed to find issue. So instead they took to a new tactic. Perhaps Clinton was TOO GOOD?! Was he so good that it made undecided voters see that Obama isn’t nearly as good a President as Clinton was? What do you think? SOUND OFF>

Glad I was watching the Cowboys and the Giants, I could not take 50+ minutes of any Clinton.

I actually watched his speech, and was reminded why he is (rightly) considered the best political speaker of the 20th century.

I know (as a republican) I’m supposed to talk about how Ronald Reagan was the great communicator, but I have to honestly say that Bill has him beat.

President Obama gives a good prepared speech, and he has the vocal tone and pace to carry most of what he says, but still… he’s no Bill Clinton.

In particular, Bill has the ability to connect with a crowd, modify his speech to play to the crowd he’s speaking to, and throw in the ‘aw shucks’ downhome mannerisms that he’s so well known for.

Bill was so good last night that even my ultra-conservative brother was almost ready to vote for Obama.
I wonder what a Regan v. Clinton campaign would have been like.
Speech-wise, they had different approaches.

Reagan would show you the peak of what America could be, and then call on you to rise to that level.

Bill Clinton will bring himself down to your level, and then try to pull you up and along with him.

Knowing what I know now, I think Clinton would probably beat Reagan in a head to head election.

Reagan was elected running against Carter (which was easy enough), but the real reagan myth didn’t start until after he was shot. By the time 84 came around, he was a living legend
My first question who mad this? Is it the same people who made the new Obama Movie? Clinton was one of the best Presidents we have had . Period. But to answer your question I don’t think he over shadowed President yet (since he hasn’t spoken yet). But Between Michelle and Clinton They set the bar pretty High. If Romney was the speaker then yes Clinton killed it.
Sorry only partially answered your question. And Clinton didn’t win the Election for anyone if the President Bombs tonight. ( i doubt it. Since he is a gamer also). But Clinton did all of the dirty work to help set up tonight. And instead of the President having to go over every accomplishment and talk to the talking point of the RNC . He can just tell us what would 4 more years be like under his leadership.
In my opinion Bill Clinton put it down like Busta Rhymes,Royce the 5’9, and Tech 9 on the B.E.T cypher but on the real. Obama hired his wife as Sec Of State has any1 4got that? He was get’n dogged by both Hil and Bill during the 2008 Dem Pres.campaign. Yet Obama asked her 2 be Sec of State. In my opinion that is the least that Bill could do is a Punk ass speech. Don’t get it twisted Bill put down his best pimp ism 2 all of us Hoez 2 beleive and please believe I’m riding 4 Obama but it’s only a speech. U can talk all the drag u want but Obama has 2 talk drag plus show and prove so he still has a job ahead of him. Obama 2012 Beeeeyotch!!

Also I did not think another Demon…crat was able 2 run against a sitting President especially if the Pres. is from the same Party. in 1976, kennedy ran against carter and almost got it.
in 1968, lyndon johnson refused to run again when he knew he would lose the nomination to either kennedy or McCarthy.
Reagan almost unseated ford in the 1976 primary.

If a person is making at least a million plus and is a white male not being racist just real again as I said a milli, white male,yes I can see why you would vote for Shitt Romney.
