  1. NTS5 says:

Michelle brought the house down. Ann was just good and out shined her husband. Lets see if Michelle does the same. I think we should have first lady Debates as well. I mean think about it they do influence their husbands. So round one are the first ladies. Round two are the Veeps. And round Three are the Presidential candidates. ( and round 4 a No Holds Barred Match of all 3 of the LOL).

    • Malcolm says:

Oh sure, you wait until Nancy Reagan is too old to start your first lady fight club.
      .
It wasn’t too long ago that first lady’s weren’t expected to be co-leaders with their husbands.

      • NTS5 says:

I have never seen Nancy Regan look any better than a Gracefull old woman. I did hear about her calling someone one a B*tch once in a speach. But we should through Bachman and Palin a bone have them fight it out On PPV. I would watch..

        • Malcolm says:

In the movie ‘Guarding Tess’, secret service agents have a debate over who would win a fight between (the main character) and Nancy Reagan.

    • Juan says:

I was actually thinking the same thing. Maybe we should begin electing the first ladies and the husbands are just the biproduct.

      • Malcolm says:

If those are the rules, then Barbara Bush.
        .
You’d have to vote for her, otherwise she’d send you to clean your room.

      • 2NA$$TEE says:

A woman could do no worse than the other 44 male counterparts.Mrs.Obama did her thang last night,I watched FOX NEWS just 2 see what haterism was gonna come about and leave it 2 KKKarl Rove 2 get that klan like mentality going.

        • Juan says:

I did too. Did you hear the part where that Blonde Right Wing analyst (forget her name) went totally rouge and said the Democrats are trying to endear themselves to women by talking Pro-Choice but this is the party that is honoring Ted Kennedy who let a woman drown in his car. *crickets*

          • 2NA$$TEE says:

Well u could come back at RepubliKKKlans the same way. This is the Party who lied about Weapons of Mass Destruction in Iraq the same party who’s Grand-Dragoons Opressing People
President landed his Tom Cruise wanna be Top Gun ass on an Air Craft carrier talking about All fighting Missions in Iraq are over…oops how did that work 4 u George? The same Party who had it’s KKKongressman get n2 a sex scandal with more than a few “pages” same ol story, old perv man trying to seduce young male interns. So neither party is any moral position 2 throw shade at the other. Both parties got drama and scandal along with the Bullshit lies. Obama 2012 just the same.

  2. Malcolm says:

I’m kind of boycotting the dem convention, so I didn’t see Michelle’s speech.
    .
However, this is America, so I don’t need to have any facts before having an opinion…lol
    .
I’m going to guess that Michelle’s speech was better. If for no other reason than the fact that Ann is kind of sheltered and probably doesn’t have as much experience speaking in public.
    .
Clint’s horrible speech reminds us that you should never speak in public without prepared notes, but it’s also hard (without practice) to speak WITH prepared notes unless you’re used to it.

  3. NTS5 says:

Why are you boycotting the DNC? I watched Lyin-Ryan at the RNC.

    • Malcolm says:

With the exception of Mitt, Ryan and Clint, I skipped most of the republican convention too.
      .
      I’m boycotting for a few reasons…
      .
      1. The conventions don’t mean anything anymore. They no longer pick the candidate, there’s no real debate over the platform (people vote for it even though they don’t agree with it), and it’s so planned there’s no spontaneity.
      .
      2. My BS meter keeps frying. If I hear another person say ‘this is the most important election in a generation’ I think my head will explode. They say that in EVERY election.
      .
      3. To be honest, I find the dem conventions to be too preechy and too whiney. I get it, they’re the only ones who care about the little people, all republicans are monsters.
      .
That being said, I’ll probably watch Biden and the President.
      .
But again… I don’t think conventions matter, and I don’t see either convention making much of a difference in November.

      • 2NA$$TEE says:

This the most important election of this generation Malcolm, I don’t want ur head 2 explode but there is a lot on the line. If Shitt Romney is elected….any1 making less than a milli and darker than a napkin get ready 4 Slave movement. I mean that literally.

      • Juan says:

Are you saying that Romney plans to fix the economy by forcing all black people to change their name to Kunta? Huh? Wha?

        • 2NA$$TEE says:

Not just blacks we are all going 2 be in that same boat if Shitt Romney is elected. All social programs that some ppl actually need will shut down like Planned Parenthood, social sec will be privatized or non existant,medi-careless will careless and less and then great grandma grandma and Grand-dad will be doubled up in 1 already crowded household.Nursing homes will no longer exist unless u can pay those high ass rates 2 stay there. How can either Party not think about the elderly when most of those in the Party are at least 60 or over. U would think they would have some compasion on both sides.

    • Juan says:

I’m a sucka for great oratory and love watching poor public speaking so this is often the best chance to see both.

      • Malcolm says:

I hear you, but haven’t we learned yet that talk is cheap?
        .
When I take my car in to be fixed, I don’t want the mechanic to tell me how great he is and how much I’m going to love my car… I want the car fixed.
        .
And if the car isn’t fixed, all of the sweet talk makes no difference.
        .
Remember… I’m from the detroit area. I have decades of experience dealing with people who get elected on sweet talk and then do nothing while things continue to crumble.

        • Malcolm says:

And that’s also why I’m fans of Lyndon Johnson and Richard Nixon.
          .
Neither would win a popularity contest. Neither were ‘pretty boys’, but they made up for it by being able to get things done, often with the opposition of their own party.
          .
If we keep electing the people we LIKE instead of the people who can get the job done, we deserve everything that will happen to us.

        • 2NA$$TEE says:

All politicians talk ish and do nothing hell every1 acts like it started with OBAMA.This KKKunt…try is a land of Pimps and Hoes like I have always said. PoLIEticians spit that ism in your ear and we are stupid enough 2 bite and believe. I already knew b4 Obama was even elected he would not get all he promised done. When u compare what George Hitler Bitch Jr. did in his 8 yrs and trying 2 fix it in less than 4yrs IMPOSSIBLE. It will take a very caring, kind, compassionate, very ballsy type leader who will put the people of the United States 1st that will dedicate his or her whole term as President and then another such President 2 get this back on the str8 and narrow.

    • Malcolm says:

And since I’m on a roll, a few more points…
      .
      4. I think it’s insulting that both parties think so little of women that they would think their entire election decision is nothing more than abortion. The powerful women I know are far more complex and care about much more than a single issue.
      .
      5. I can understand if a person wants to attack Mitt for the decisions he made while running his business, but I have a hard time listening to complains from people whose entire career has been inside of the governement; or people who have never actually had to make a payroll.
      .
      6. I’m also getting kind of sick of the media trying to claim that their independent when we all know they’re in the bag. We all know Fox is republican and MSNBC is democrat, but now even the formerlly neutrals (ABC, NBC, CNN) have dropped the mask and taken sides.

      • NTS5 says:

How about people criticizing him for his job in MA. His best accomplishment was his Health care bill that President Obama used as a template for his health care bill that Now Mitt is against. No I don’t think Republicans are Monsters. But there platforms are a horror show. Yes Small government so i can do what I want. But Don’t touch my Medicare. Everyone should be able to borrow from their parents because they are so rich that they don’t have to struggle to make ends meet. We can’t win a normal election so lets make up some BS voter fraud no matter the facts that it is .002%. Or even Paul Ryan who voted for the Bailouts that he is so against now or trying to Blame The President for something that happened before he even took office. Now thinking about it I should have Boycotted the RNC.

      • 2NA$$TEE says:

Well Malcolm U have a point as normal but I am sure women overall are concerned with more than just abortion and 4 some1 2 even think that abortion is the only issue women have a problem with is either not a woman or does not really now what’s going on. Equal pay Healthcare minus abortions hell just 2 have a right 2 be side by side on views and issues not play the “background role” like most of us males view women. I was watch’n the RepublK.K.LAN KKKonvention and as usual the women looked like Stepford wives or robots doing background vocals or the stay in the kitchen mentality. I know Mrs.Romney wishes she would have done a speech simular 2 Mrs.Obama but that would have been seen as “coming out of pocket” and thinking 4 herself and we all know women in the RepublIKKKlan Party cannot be seen as having their own mind. Shut Up and Make me a sandwich!!

  4. NTS5 says:

sorry for the typo’s I am writing fast while at work..

  5. jimmyt says:

I’d have to get them in a 3-way smash before I could make an informed decision.

  6. 2NA$$TEE says:

Michelle without a doubt her message was relatable 2 every woman and man in America and around the world regardless or race, class, political preference, that’s what America should be about. I looked at the Demon-cratic Convention VS The RepublIK.K.KLAN KKKonvention and it is always the same makeup in the RNC it’s white male wanna be klan members who have these bland personality ass women who need some “HeadBoard Boogie” aka a hard poundng from the back by a Liberal sometimes militant white woman bang’n ass brutha like myself. On the other hand the Demon-crats play the inclusive role 2 the tee but most think like Rush Limbaugh but go all out 2 pretend they enjoy Obama being in office. When they finally leave office I bet all the furniture and everything they ever sat on or touched will be in a bon fire on the White House lawn.
