The Best $14.96 You’ll Spend This Week
Laurence Fishburne as Thurgood Marshall

While passing through Wal-Mart the other day, I noticed that the DVD of ‘Thurgood’, Laurence Fishburne’s one-man-show was on sale for the convenient price of $14.96.
If you’ve never seen it before, do yourself a favor. Buy the DVD, spend the other $5.04 on some snacks, and spend the evening in watching it.
You can thank me later.

A definite buy. Happy Black History Month folks.
Laurence is a quality actor, unlike his daughter…
I must disagree, I’ve seen her acting and it was quite invigorating to say the least.
LMAO! she didn’t do anything for me…
Mr.Fishburne does not get the shine that Denzil and Samuel Jackson nor Morgan Freeman gets. He has put it down even in movies like Cornbread and Earl,School Daze to Tre’s father in Boyz N the Hood to Ike Turner and one of my Favs he did as the Teacher in Higher Learning with Omar Epps and Ice Cube. I also think he would have done a great Job in Malcolm X back in 1992. I am cop’n that Thurgood Marshall DVD.
Fishburne lives in my dads building in NYC. Very cool cat. Gained mad weight. I missed it, but my dad said the PLAY of this was absolutely off the chain.
This IS the play. This is a one-man stage show, performed (I think) at Howard.
