WTF!!!! O snap that is so so sad. If I remember 1 show on tv I watched on a regular when I was younger on Saturday it was the Sooooooooooooooooouuuuuuul Traaaaaaaaaaain! I remember seeing the Soul Train dancers(Damn that Asian chick with the loooooooong hair was fine) and learning the newest dance moves my stiff ass couldnt do ….thank God 4 break dancing 4 a hot min. I saw Al Greene,Barry White,Aretha,Curtis Mayfield,Marvin Gaye, Rick James,RUN-DMC,Whodini,Sheila E. New Edition,Sheena Easton,Teena Marie,Kool Moe Dee, etc I know Don hated Hip hop at 1st but he did let em get their shine on. Dick Clark tried 2 copy and paste but could not get with it. Don u brought so much happiness 4 that hour with music and dance so may stars have come 2 that show and shined because of u Big Don. So ride that train on 2 your final stop. Peace, Love, and Soul!!
The Asian lady with the long hair’s name is Cheryl Song. PEACE!!!

This is the fire time I’m reading of this, I’m shocked & saddened. R.I.P. Don Cornelius. PEACE!!!
I was never a fan of Soul Train, but he played a character named Muhammed Johnson in the 1980 film ‘Roadie’ that was over the top.
Don Cornelius was a smooth cat, sad to see he took his own life. I remember watching Soul Train in the 90′s for the hip hop acts and the fly dancers, now thats were you saw juicy thickness at its best! RIP Don Cornelius…..PEACE, LOVE AND SOUL!!
