Gingrich Wins Stunning Victory In South Carolina
Makes Romney his bitch
Newt Gingrich won a stunning victory over Mitt Romney yesterday in the South Carolina Primary. Romney, who until a few weeks ago held a sizable lead in SC, saw his lead evaporate as Gingrich went on to a commanding victory in the important primary.
The final results: Gingrich – 40.4%; Romney – 27.8%; Santorum – 17.0%; Paul – 13.0%
The success of Gingrich in South Carolina can be directly traced to Thursday’s CNN debate, where Newt gave a forceful response to renewed allegations about his second wife.
Republicans consider the South Carolina primary essential because, since 1980, every republican candidate who has won the primary has gone on to win the nomination.
Next up is Florida. Worth noting is the fact that 30% of Florida voters have already filed absentee ballots. This means that nearly 1/3 of the possible votes in that primary were placed BEFORE Gingrich had his post-debate surge and SC victory.
Because of this, it is ESSENTIAL that Romney win Florida if his campaign stands any chance of winning the nomination.
In his concession speech last night, Romney cited his love of the US Constitution multiple times; which I found laughable considering his public eagerness to exercise the new powers granted the President under NDAA.
Ron Paul gave one of his better speeches last night; stating directly (and surprisingly coherently) the core principles of his campaign.
Rick Santorum, in his concession speech, seemed to embody the state motto of South Carolina, ‘Dum Spiro Spero’ (while I breathe, I hope).
In his victory speech, Gingrich attempted to build bridges to the voters of his opponents, with some especially kind comments toward Ron Paul.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
There is a debate scheduled for 9PM Monday on NBC. After the events of the last week, I think it is fair to say that the entire nomination will come down to what happens at this debate.
For Romney, it is do or die time. Unless he can come out aggressive and take the fight to Newt, his support will continue to evaporate. Santorum, who has difficulty directly challenging his opponents, will need to get tough or he too will find his support disappearing.
If Newt can perform at tomorrows debate like he did last week, he can lock it all up.

All i have to say is wow. You whats funny I feel like Romney are like the ravens. Even when he is doing well he misses the kick. LOL
But What is up with the pic? I couldn’t decode it.
Looks like soap?
You are correct. Because anytime someone gets f*cked like this, there’s usually a bar of soap involved.
Well we are about 2 get Fucked regarding both parties . 1 who is soft as cotton and won’t go over the heads over the very 1z who hate his very existance, another party well the ones who are running are on some “White Power” Right Wing Extremist, Neo Nazi shit…..Yes I said it and what?!! Please tell me I am wrong about these KKKlan..didates. U can’t!!
Sure I can… you’re wrong.. lol
If Gingrich wins the GOP nomination, it further cements what I already think: that when it comes to politics, A-Most White Americans are like sheep–mindless drones who go for anyone who talks about giving them a better deal than the guy at the used-car-dealership down the street, even if only by a few bucks. B–That they are myopic and amnesiac, and that like any toddler, only understand instant gratification. C–have no impulse control (just like Gingrich)….
This guy is THE WORST mainstream candidate, who actually has a shot, that I have ever seen! This is ridiculous! The GOP has NOBODY! Actually, Ron Paul has said some things that make sense, but obviously he has no chance….
If this wasn’t so sad, it would be funny!!!
But it’s not funny because this….person could actually be the next president…WTF?!

Lyndon Johnson was, in my opinion, one of the greatest Presidents in American history. When I say that, people look at me sideways (especially the anti-war crowd), but I don’t care. That’s what I believe and I’ll stick to it.
.
What made him great was his ability to get things done. His history in the senate, and his ability to man-handle other politicians to get his own way was legendary, and made it possible for him (once he became president) to force things through that other lesser politicians would ever dream of trying.
.
We look back with a melancholy fondness toward JFK; we cling to the dream he created for so many, but the honest truth is that the only reason Kennedy every had his vision realized is because Johnson was president and able to do it.
.
The same thing goes for Newt. Newt has the force and ability to get things done. There is something appealing with a person who can get things done.
Yes but let’s not 4get how he helped set up his boy in Dallas in Nov 1963 and please do not come with that Oswald did it alone shit I never dranked that Kool Aid . He may have done a few good things oeverall but Johnson did not want 2 run 4 office again when it was time 2 do so. Furthermore he over turned what Kennedy was trying 2 accomplish which as getting the troops out of Vietnam .
I see your point. With Gingrich, I fear that what he will get done would set this country back, not help it go forward. He is the quintessential Washington insider, used to having his hand greased and taking advantage of every advantage there is…He is a lush and, I believe, a racist.
No he is a racist just peep what he is talkn about when ever he opens his mouth he is just an out of touch, paid off, poLIEtician who was takiing shit about Clinton getn his knob polished when Newt was trying 2 have a side order of fries his damn self.No republican cares about understanding race/class relations “keep em divided b4 they start thinking for themselves and find out we are all full of shit”.
