Congress Sells You Down The River

Posted by Malcolm

And why did we not hear about it?

And once again, Jon Stewart and The Daily Show has to do the reporting.

Since you were probably busy last week, you probably didn’t notice that the Congress has just voted to sell you into slavery.

The National Defense Authorization Act, quietly making its way through congress right now, has a little surprise in it:

It authorizes the President to arrest American citizens without charges, detain them forever without trial, and all under the guise of fighting terrorism.

What makes it different this time is that it allows the government to arrest citizens HERE AT HOME in the United States, simply for suspicion of ‘supporting’ terrorism.

It’s sad that we have to rely on a comedy show to get the information out.

Note: after the firestorm in the article about Cain dropping out, I decided NOT to put a Hitler mustache on President Obama. So I put one on the congress.

    AAAWWW SHIT!
I betta go into hiding right now!
WTF?! … The Patriot Act was just feeling the water, huh?

  2. E.L.Diaz says:

Malcolm, why did you disturb me with this crap this fine morning?! I’m laying on my couch, watching Housewives and X-Factor, and reading about the coming NBA season, while getting ready to play my XBox…and I still gotta go to the mall christmas shopping, when I get up this afternoon…I’m stressed enough, man!

    • Malcolm says:

True, why worry about your freedom when you have the Kim K divorce to worry about.

      • E.L.Diaz says:

You know, and this is why I get cynical. Senators/congressmen don’t listen their constituents on really important items, like this one! They make all these public appearances, shanking hands and kissing babies, smiling in our faces, but really, what are they thinking all that time? … “I can’t wait to f*ck outta here and meet Jim for 18 holes…” or something to that effect. They give small-time grants to open up another community center or program (and sure, they help some people), but on the big-ticket items, they are NOT accountable to us. And then, people are not intelligent enough to VOTE THEM OUT! and the ones that do get voted out, the replacements DO THE SAME SHIT!!!

        LMMFAO!!!!!!!!

  3. Mr. Bad Guy says:

If the native americans were tougher on anti-terrorism and anti-immigration we would not be dealing with this now. I blame THEM,…. and some minute fraction of myself. I’m always, to some degree, self-loathing.
    .
As E.L. said. it’s The Patriot Act: The Redux: Everyone gets fucked. Lol. And since we give ALL the power to Congress, The House, and The President, we don’t really know about things like this until the feds are knocking at your brown skinned, muslim named, free thinking door.

    • Malcolm says:

And don’t forget… it all but (I think?) 18 states, there is no mechanism to recall congresspersons.

      • Mr. Bad Guy says:

So to the question that I always ask; How do we change this? The new boss seems to always be just like the old boss, just a different political affliation.

    • E.L.Diaz says:

You’re right, tho! if the Natives would have let the pilgrims starve to death, we prolly wouldn’t be going thru all this ish right now, LOL!

  4. Juan says:

I actually heard about this in the barber shop (Shout to my man P at 718 Unlimited in Bushwick.) They talk a lot of ish in there from sports to music and every now and then they throw in a little politics but couldn’t believe this was true. I mean I kind of feel these powers were already in place but I guess this makes it legal. So what’s next? A military coup? Is it me or isn’t it getting really real (not to sound cliche) but this country isn’t what it used to be and our civil liberties all being infringed upon one by one until well…check mate.

    • E.L.Diaz says:

Then they’re gonna do like they did in “The Siege.”

    • Malcolm says:

And to add another problem to the mix…

For about 9 years I have been following developments in research having to do with brain scans.
      .
We are rapidly nearing the technological point where they can sit someone down, scan their brain, and see what they are thinking.
      .
Our laws are not equipped for this technology; and we all know that when it arrives, they will use some sort of crisis event to justify its first (and eventual) use.
      .
This is not science fiction, conspiracy theory, or claims of alien tech. This is hard, peer-reviewed science.
      .
To show you how close we are getting, the following video shows (on the left) the image that the subject sees; and (on the right), the computer reconstruction.
      .
There’s more to it than that, of course, but watch the video and you’ll get an idea of how close we really are.

The human body is electric. It was a matter of time that certain eletrical signals such as the impluses created by the brain would be interpreted in a way that it could be understood, then mansfestied visually….. welcome to the future.

    • 2NA$$TEE says:

And every1 thought I was crazy when I said AmeriKKKa is try’n 2 take away civil liberties away slowly but surely, next it will be voting rights, then a small form of Marshal Law, next will be overall NEW WORLD ORDER . I have been saying Slavery will be back in effect but in a different way more economical no so much skin tone . KKKontrol of thought, speech, and spirit . If u are not scared u had better be.

  5. Eru420 says:

The whole point of this is control. I think to what ends that control is meant for is the question. At a certain point there are bigger issues then money. I dont wanna sound super conspiracy brother or anything, but laws like this make it easy for an orginization or government to protect itself and its intrests. I think the endgame is just like the very first game…..survival. The world is becoming increasinly brown, some laws and rulings seem to be about giving the real “minority” the power and ability to insure its survival, despite the odds, with overwhelming power (South Africa). But maybe I’m just tripping.

  6. CHAMP415 says:

My dudes, this was set in stone a long time ago. The Patriot Act was just the first glimpse of what is to come. Time again I’ve said that we live in a country of false democracy and its on its way to becoming a Military State. Sad thing is a lot of the people are worried about the dumbest shit aka “reality” t.v, living in fantasy land and looking at the world through rose colored glasses. Time for the righteous to enlighten the dumb, deaf and blind before they become the latest sheep being led to slaughter! A free mind is a powerful weapon, but you have to learn how to use a weapon and be ready when the time comes, paranoia will be crazy in 2012 as the “end” of the world gets closer and closer. Politicians are pimps and society has become its ignorant whore.
