Cain Out Of The Race
And start looking for Huntsman
As we predicted 26 days ago, Herman Cain has dropped out of the presidential race after multiple sex allegations claimed too much for his campaign.
If you want to get yourself ahead of the game (and your friends), you can start mentioning the name Jon Huntsman. I predict that we’re going to be hearing his name a lot in the next few weeks.
Huntsman is the only republican nominee left who hasn’t had his ‘day in the sun’.
Bachman came and went. So did Perry, and Paul. Santorum doesn’t count since he’ll never get near the nomination. That leaves Huntsman as the only candidate not allowed to step up to the camera to state his case to the American people.
Common sense and fairness hints that the media will figure out that he hasn’t got any air time, so I predict they will try to fill the void now that Cain is out.
As far as Cain goes…
What can be said that hasn’t already been said? We were on the Cain story early, and most of the regular readers have chimed in with their opinions.
I think we can all agree that Cain was undone by a shocking inability to understand how politics works.
The question that will eat at us will be the same as it was for Gart Hart and John Edwards: What was he thinking? How could he POSSIBLY think he could get away with it?
Maybe I’m being too hard. Maybe it’s more like Larry Hagmans character in the movie Primary Colors; where he came on too quick and didn’t know how to stop it.
But no, this wasn’t a draft movement. This was a deliberate candidacy. There was a point where Cain had to sign the papers agreeing to run. And it was at that point that his mind failed him.
Hint for anyone wanting to run for President: think of the nastiest thing you have ever poked in your drunken life. Think of the worst things you’ve ever caught yourself doing. And then imagine all of them being played 24 hours per day on the news.
Imagine all of the one night stands, and then picture them, 20 or 30 years older, with Gloria Alrod at their side talking about how they thought that you loved them.
And then remember… they WILL come out, they ALWAYS come out.
I have been convinced for years that the reason America can’t get qualified candidates is because no one in their right mind would submit themselves to this sort of attack.
The ones who are left over are the ones who don’t have a conscience to begin with; and therefore have no problem discussing their darker past. And what kind of leader does that give us?

How in the world is Obama blamed for Kennedy being killed? As far as the economy, that began to take a nose dive before Bush left office. Do you know that during Clinton’s term in office Army Delta operatives had Osama in their sights to take him out, but Clinton there order to stand down? Please explain how was the country so jacked up when Bush left office when Obama got a stimulus passed that has not created jobs, the money still isn’t spent and alot of it went to infrastructure which is not a lasting fix on unemployment? While I get my news from many sources, including tv and internet, I take it all with a grain of salt. I have the benefit of having lived in another country and have seen the work of the different US administrations, without the interference of the mainstream media…Many of us, like 2NA$$TEE, CHAMP_415, Mr. Bad Guy (just to name a few, there are others) bring a formal education, world travel, a “Hood Pass”, high degree of intelligence and intellect and just common sense to the different subjects….When I see something reported on the news, I wait for the other shoe to drop. The US government has a history of Murdering anyone who gets in the way of what they want (to continue the “American way of life”), raping countries of their natural resources and continuing to opress those people by installing puppet governments…and this is after they killed, abducted and enslaved tens of millions of Black, Brown and Red people, in order to take this land and make it the country that it is today…and today, continue a system where Caucasians have a priviledged position at the top of the pyramid…and we are supposed to like it?! The faults I find with this country are as follows.1) This country has lost it’s place of prominence in the world. 2)The US has allowed unions to over throw private sector jobs thus making it more expensive for a company to operate which is one reason companies have chosen to go overseas. 3) Big government. 4)Dependence on foreign oil. 5)High taxes both on the individual, Mom and Pop businesses, and corporations. 6) The enormous debt that we are under thanks to a stimulus bill that did not stimulate anything except pet projects and as I stated earlier infrastructure. 7) High unemployment thanks in part to the prohibitive regulations placed on banks and other lending instituions.
The health care bill that was passed without the elected officials knowing the full content save for the installments they included. Well, there you have at least eight reasons. Race predominates the mind of blacks. I guess the historical questions will go unanswered. I guess 2NA$$TEE you know that Bush chose not to mess the North Korea because you are privey to information that the rest of the nation isn’t? Unless there is someone in this audience who has or had access to the classified info that weighed on the presidents decision not to go after North Korea, you do not know. You are making an assumption and passing it as fact. And you know that the government brought crack to the US how? Is there a book that outlines this? If so which book so I can purchase it. Perhaps there is some declassified document? I am well aware of the Iran Contra affair of the 80′s. Mr Diaz I appologize for making the assumption that you gave up. 2NA$$TEE Sen McCain showed proof of his citizenship because his birth place was the Panama Canal zone. Who called Obama’s family monkeys, apes and so on? I will address the McCain/ Palin thing. McCain (a RINO) had a lack luster campaign. True conservatives did not like him. But of the choices, he was the best. His campaign only took off at the coming of Palin, a true conservative. By the end of the Bush term, there were many disgruntled voters. If I recall correctly, independent voters which sided with Obama. Like I said before they are a prized slice of the political pie.
It does matter that you are not white. How can you be so brainwashed that you don’t see what is going on today, what has been going on…ever in this country?! … to your points:
1) This country first gained its prominent position in the world by being a bully, stealing, murdering, undermining and then overthrowing governments and twisting arms until other countries submitted. There is only so long a country can do this. So, history buff, see Rome, Egypt and the English empires. Other countries got fed up with it and it’s like the small kid who has been beat up so many times by the bully: he goes to the gym, works out and takes self-defense classes. One day, he turns around and kicks the bully’s ass. The U.S.’s immoral/illegal means of gaining this prominence ensured that it would lose it.
2) Unions have ruined the economy (in a nutshell). GREED has ruined this country’s economy. Of course unions are part of it, it’s run by people with the same mentality. They play this Spy vs. Spy game, but at the end of the day, union leadership is in bed with big business (much like lobbyists and politicians). They make “mutually benficial” deals.
3)Big Government?! It’s a big country! there are 300 million people and 50 states to run. One state’s economy is bigger than most of the rest of the world’s countries’..Big government did not start yesterday, it developed from the end of the Civil War on.
4)Dependence on foreign oil comes from GREED! this government plays political games in the middle east in order to keep the ILLEGAL/IMMORAL state of Israel from being wiped out. The Israeli lobby is so powerful that A- a wealthy, modern, infrastructured ountry of 6 million gets upward of 5 BILLION in aide every year from the U.S., while the entire continent of Africa, with over one BILLION people, receives about 500 MILLION annually…I said immoral in part because when S. Africa was sanctioned by the UN due to its apartheid government, Israel refused to stop trading with them and served as a middle-man for the U.S. to keep trading with them too…B-the U.S. bases it’s foreign policy and military strategy in that region based on Israel’s security. The dependence on foreign oil is not only to have a military presence in Arab countries/N. Africa, but also so that Exxon/Mobile and other multinational oil companies (BP) can make record-setting profits year after year–as well as many other nameless companies.
5)High taxes on individuals, small businesses. Again, Big Brother is in bed with Big Business! Big companies/lobbyists run this country! They have had politicians in their pockets forever. It didn’t get to be like this in the past 20 years. This was a progression since the Industrial Revolution…Manifest Destiny was talking about stealing this country from the natives, in order for the rich to get richer! sounds familiar?
6)The enormous debt we are under was NOT due to a stimulus bill, how blind are you?! How about spending 3.7 TRILLION dollars in UNNECESSARY/ILLEGAL/IMMORAL WARS since 2001?! only to benefit big oil–W. Bush’s and Cheney’s companies and lackeys.
7)High unemployment based on prohibitive regulations placed on banks…did you write that with a straight face?! the same GREEDY-ASS banks that mismanaged their money so badly that they needed BILLIONS of our tax money in order to give themselves more bonuses?! … Freddie MAC, for example, who gave your illustrous presidential candidate, former Speaker of the House, Newt Gingrich, 1.5 Mil in order to make sure legislation was killed before it reached the senate floor that would have streamlined them…The same FM who in 2006 spent 11 Mil on Washington lobbyists….Banks have to be regulated like a crackhead needs to be kept from the crackhouse! They can’t help themselves!
8)The healcare bill passed like thousands of other bills before it…I can’t go to the Dr. right now because I can’t afford healthcare. It’s sickening (no pun intended)… I work hard, pay my taxes…This is some Bullsh*t!
Finally, next time you come on HN and espouse your beliefs, come hard, or don’t say anything at all! We are NOT sitting around lamenting being Black/underserved/whatever! We are adult men and women who sometimes need to vent and a great soapbox is provided for us here.
