[RANT] In Defense of Herman, Gloria Cain Puts Her Image At Risk
We just hope “he totally respects” her enough to not make her the idiot of the year. She put herself out there.
So what is the Herman Cain womanizing count up to 4 now? If there was a top 10 reasons why I wouldn’t run for President 9 out of the 10 would be exactly this. Everyone’s got skeletons in the closet and those of us who don’t, well they just make it up. Even if there’s no truth to the matter, a scandal and kill a Presidential run. Men of Power don’t think in terms of right and wrong when they feel they can get away with it.
Raise your hand if you believe Herman Cain? Well it would seem that you stand on the side of his wife, Gloria who is either playing the “Good Wife” role or is really gullible. Doesn’t she know that its the with JUMPOFFS that you do all the things your woman won’t? So for her to think that this behavior is out of character only adds CREDIBILITY in my mind to the rumors. I’m not going to sit here and say I know he is or he isn’t but Mrs. Cain’s comments this weekend came off as those of the oblivious spouse.
“I know that’s not the person he is. He totally respects women,” Gloria Cain said in an interview to air Monday on Fox’s “On the Record with Greta Van Susteren.”
And On the record she went. Look I get it. You NEED to stand by your man. After all if in (the now, very unlikely) event he is elected, its a major come up for you as well. But, what if more evidence to the contrary DOES leak. How does that make you look? It put your square in the media’s cross-hairs. Now the media has fuel to prove you wrong praying for that priceless moment where they can have you on camera shocked and appalled.
There’s a way to take the high road and that wasn’t it. Take a page out of Hillary Clinton‘s book and just keep quiet. Change your hairstyle and work on your own career. I feel bad for Gloria Cain, I really do. Regardless of the truth Herman is playing her as his pawn. Remember last week when he stopped by ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live?”
“My own wife said that I wouldn’t do anything as silly as what that lady was talking about, because she does know me,” Cain said about one of the accusers, Sharon Bialek. “I’ve been married for 43 years to the same woman and I’m proud of it.”
Lets hope for HER sake he’s telling the truth and not just deny, deny, denying because in the end he’ll still be a power-broker, he’ll still get daps from his boys and she’ll be the foolish ex-wife who should have listened to everyone else. Sad.

I agree about the first point… in the past I had an interest in getting into politics. I think I would do a good job. BUT… I wouldn’t last a month because I’ve got some shit so dark in my past that I would be an IDIOT to ever try a public life.

As far as Mrs Cain… she’s doing what she has to do. What other option does she have?
I totally agree, I wouldnt last a second in the political arena. I done pissed off too many females, cursed out too many people, fought too many dudes, and just rubbed people the wrong way, literally and figuratively. And if it wasnt something I have done you could pull the same amount of dirt off of anybody I am associated with.

Hold up, every job interview I ever had was in an office or a store of some sort. Never did any persperctive employer take me out to dinner, cheap bastards! Sharon Bialek’s story is suspect…and who hasn’t reached under a woman’s skirt to check the goods after dinner, on the way back to the house/hotel? LMAO! … why would that be out of character for any man? …. I am being facetious, but let’s keep it real! I dunno about Herm and his advances on women, but this chick is lying … And just because a man likes to be with multiple women, does that make him a womanizer? That makes him a man! sure, Herm is married, but that is a different thing altogether…I personally won’t cross that line, but I’m not in his marriage or his head, so whatever…it’s none of my business…what is a womanizer anyway? when I was a young man (mudbone voice) I usually messed around with several women at a time. I liked all of them and treated them very well. I was just having fun…and some of those women had men in their lives (some had husbands)… If that made me a womanizer, what were they: Manizers? … just saying… but I digress…

To me, it sounds like he was just hitting on her. Since she no longer worked for the company at the time, he figured it wouldn’t be harassment.

As I mentioned in another post, ‘harassment’ seems to depending entirely on whether or not the action is unwelcome, not the action itself.
I agree with the both of you, but in the political arena his actions can be shuned.

In the Marine Corps, and entire military for tis matter, under the UCMJ there is an Article 133- Unbecoming of an officer or a gentleman, or as we Marines know it the catch 22. When the Military courts can’t legally penalize you with a crime, or you have been already been convicted in a civilian or military court and they want to perform the coup d’ grace, they hit you with the Article 133. It pretty much covers anything of moral or ethical value that is done or omitted in action.

So pretty much I say if you wont do it in front of your mother, or call her and tell her about it afterwards, you shouldnt do it and think that you can be a politician, let alone President.
And you can be court martialed for a article 133, ALONE.

If that many white womens came out the woodwork accusing my husband I would be quietly gathering all funds I needed out his accounts to leave his butt.
But…she may be one of those women (and there are some out there) who don’t care if he cheats..knows that he’s cheated…but also knows that there ARE some things he wouldn’t do ..(all of this is a big maybe but still a possibility)
