HIGHBRID NATION REMEMBERS: The Veterans
Thank you for ALL of your sacrifices
Over the years many of you have supported Highbrid Nation through the many ups and downs and changes that this community has gone through. None more than the servicemen and women often stationed overseas and Veterans. Its always amazed me how passionate you all are for the topics we discuss some serious and political in nature and some well…not so much.
What I’ve come to realize and appreciate is it is the unspoken commitment that you all have given that makes a community like Highbrid Nation even possible. There are a lot of places where the content and discussions we take part in every day wouldn’t be possible, censored…hell I might be strung up on a tree somewhere by my balls.
So while we all have many variance of opinions about the wars we fight, conflicts we engage in and motivations of those who initiate them there is no doubt that it is you, the active servicemen and women and veterans old and young who have made it all possible for us to even debate them. While there are many of you, I won’t leave anyone out and suffice it so say….THANK YOU. Thank you for not only your personal sacrifice but that of your careers, family, time and often health. We especially honor those that didn’t make it home. Those that will forever be lost but remembered in our hearts every time we look up at that flag.
Lastly, I send a special shout to my fellow Highbrid Nation founder Michael Belgrove Jr., active Army Reservist who as you might remember first started this community from the dusty sands of an Iraqui military base. Salute Fellas.
