Swizz Beats, Sexting, Cheating On Alicia Keys? So What You’re Perfect Now?!
Is the celebrity drama so far from the reality of our own mess we conveniently hide in the closet?

I’m not usually down for the whole gossip thing. Its way too cliche for urban blogs to do so but I thought rumors of Swizz Beats allegedly cheating on Alicia Keys was one that I thought I should touch on from a general standpoint. From the looks of it, Swizzy may have been dealing with yet another singer/ songwriter. This one however of a lesser known stature named Christina Elizabeth from Houston.
If you were like me you were mildly disappointed to learn that the gorgeous Alicia Keys was off the market when she was scheduled to be wed to beats. Naturally while I probably had no chance at her, it was nice to know the miracle could happen. While we obviously weren’t privy to any confirmed facts, reports were of course that Swizz left Mashonda to be with Keys. Now this new broad is showing up talking greasy.
“I’m only making this statement because I’m being put out there as a liar and I am very embarrassed,” Christina wrote in her statement. “I would like to confirm that the rumor about Swizz Beatz cheating on Mashonda with me is absolutely true. I would also like to confirm that the rumors about Swizz ‘sexting’ me, even in his present marriage, are absolutely true. I am also confirming that I lost my cell phone and someone else posted all the stuff that you see on the internet.”
The statement apparently was in response to someone claiming to be close to the couple’s assertion that Beatz has been sexting and exchanging scandalous photos with a 23-year-old Elizabeth and reportedly offered to fly out for his tour dates and “fuck the shit out of asap.”
Now, whether any of this is true is actually not my point. Its the situation. When Brett Farve got himself hemmed up I said did he do something that any of us haven’t done before? We’re so quick to point the finger at celebrities and say how could they when their ish is exposed. The problem is we’re all slow to look in the mirror.
Bottom line is cheating is a slippery slope. There’s an age old adage that “once a cheater, always a cheater.” While I don’t firmly believe that (I believe people cheat for a myriad of reasons) I think we all find it much more difficult to avoid future negative behavior, WHATEVER IT IS, when we’ve done it before. Add in the pleasure sex brings humans and its a hard cycle to break.
Did Swiss cheat on Mashonda with Alicia and this chick? I don’t know for sure, don’t care but probably. Hell he’s probabcTiger Woods worthy list. The dude has money and some women are attracted to that. What I think we have to be careful of is pointing the finger at him as the bad guy when can’t do so to ourselves. While its not right and certainly reprehensible, its not far from the normal human reaction unfortunately for society we haven’t come to grips with that.

smh….People have been cheating since…TMZ reports that Adam was rumored to be sleeping around on Eve! when will it end?! (indignant voice)….Never! But, let’s not make the mistake of indicting ALL people. Some people do it, MOST people, I would say, don’t (my survey results will be out next week, lol)….
Must be genetic, or something…who in their right mind would cheat on Alicia Keys???!!! It’s all downhill from her! In the cheating handbook, rule number 187A states that, and I quote: “The person you are cheating with MUST be better looking than the person you are cheating on.” By this rule, it would be moronic to cheat on AK. Thus, this dude either can’t read or is just a moron! … I never liked this dude from the minute I saw the reports of him cheating on his ex…although I understood why he did: it was with Alicia Keys! But to now do it to her?!

you guys act like it’s all about looks…AK is fine and so was Halle Berry…Just because you cute don’t mean that you don’t have something lacking in your relationship.
Majority of the time it’s not the “partner’s” fault but instead the so called “cheater”. What we don’t know is if Swizz and AK have an understanding and she doesn’t care “about his other girls, and he should just be good to her” (sorry…I love that SOS song)
I don’t think sex had anything to do with it. As with the Anthony Weiner case, Swizz didn’t even get the va-jay-jay…he was just talking to it. *shrug*
You’re right when you say it’s not all about looks. I was talking about the whole package, including the baby. One of the dirtiest things a man can do is cheat on his pregnant wife. As far as looks, in my opinion, AK is as good as it gets and cheating on her would be taking a few steps back in looks. Why sleep with other women who are not even as good looking as your wife? Never do that.
