SEE! This is what we get for being all compassionate about the man coming home from prison.  Its clear T.I. still doesn’t get it.  Your life aint a reality show and look how it ended up when you tried to make it one.  On Wednesday, rapper T.I. stepped off a motor coach bus to start serving the rest of his time in a halfway house for a probation violation.  You’d think he’d want to lay low…keep a low profile and he already has a new book deal and yes another TV reality show.

“The storm is over & da sun back out. IT’S OUR TIME TO SHINE SHAWTY!!!!!” the rapper told his followers on Twitter. “Welcome to the beginning of our Happy Ending!!!!”

T.I.’s trouble with the law is well documented so I won’t go back through it. What you might not have known is that he’s this time working with VH1 on a new reality show that will follow hi9s journey home from jail and debut the show in December. MTV of course filmed something similar called “T.I.’s Road to Redemption: 45 Days to Go,” which detailed his remorse following his gun conviction and efforts to help others avoid his mistakes, mistakes he would later repeat.

This time around, T.I. won’t stop there.  He’s also finalized a book deal with HarperCollins to publish a manuscript for a book called “Power & Beauty” slated to drop in October. The novel, which was co-written with David Ritz, is a fictional tale about two childhood friends torn apart by dangerous dealings on the streets of Atlanta.

Look I’m no hater.  I want T.I. to get money.  I want him to be successful that’s why its frustrating to me to see him take the same path.  Everyone has been saying I’m too hard on the kid.  Nah when you love someone you check them.  When something isn’t working for you, go another way.  He’s fresh out the bing and already dousing himself with the same high profile life that plagued his last few stints as a free man.  I’m disappointed.  There’s no reason he can’t get his life together and then tell the tale of how he did it on TV, sell books till the cows come home and T-shirts promoting all that.  I’ma let this breathe however, see how things transgress.  I hope and pray for the best.  He had/has such an opportunity to be a shining light of inspiration in so many lives unfortunately he’s been illustrating the wrong path for too long.
