Jersey Shore Spinnoffs? Can We Actually Take More Foolishnes? Apparently
You knew it would be a “shore” thing

@DJPaulyD @sn00ki @JENNIWOWW
There are some celebrities like Kim Kardashian that seemingly come out of absolutely nowhere. We often wonder why are they famous? What’s their talent? Then we later find publicity machines or the cunning and devious Kris Jenner are behind their every move and their fame is not an accident.
But for the stars of MTV’s Jersey Shore, it was truly a fluke and the network plans to ride it until its dead. Over the weekend they announced they’ll be launching two spinnofs one starring Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and and Jenni “JWoww” Farley as they move in to a $1.5 Million crib together and the other following the adventures of Paul “Pauly D” Delvecchio as he jetsets across the globe meeting the high demand for his celebrity DJing services.
The entire crew is currently filming season 4 of Jersey Shore in Italy and then will finish up in Seaside Heights this summer to film what is now the fifth and perhaps final season. The spinoffs are slated to begin filming after and air sometime next year.
But where did we go wrong? When did we allow MTV to subject us to such foolishness and we fall victim. Its clear given the shows ratings and pop culture like “GTL” “T-Shirt Time” and “DTF” that the cast has had a profound impact on society and across a wide array of cultural barriers, age groups and demographics. If you didn’t know everyone else also watched the show could you admit to doing so? Probably not. I know it sounds like I’m hating but I’m not. I watch the show religiously and think its hilarious, but why? I have no idea. The only unfortunate thing is its safe to say every reality TV producer in America is racking their brain on how to replicate this success. We could be in for more brain cell annihilation for some years to come.

ugh…i don’t know how you can watch that garbage…but then again…I have fallen prey to RHOA and Basketball Wives *shrug*
People like to see people behaving worse than themselves..so they can point and say “Das da bad guy!” (sorry..watched Scarface this weekend)
I HAVE NO FUCKIN CLUE WHY PEOPLE WATCH THIS GARBAGE. MAYBE CAUSE THEY NEED “REALITY” COMEDY, WHO KNOWS, I ONLY WATCHED ONE EPISODE AND THAT’S CAUSE I HEARD THAT THE IRISH BROAD J-WOW WAS STACKED UP IN THE CUPCAKE DEPT, AFTER 5 MINS OF THIS TRASH, I DEFF KNEW THAT YOU DONT NEED TALENT TO GET YOUR OWN SHOW AND MAKE AN ASS OUT OF YOURSELF, I ASKED MY WIFE AND SISTER WHY THEY WATCH THIS GARBAGE AND THEY SAID CAUSE ITS MORE DRAMATIC THAN A LATINO SOAP OPERA, LMFAO!!!!, THE WORLD WE LIVE IN, SINCE MTV’S IN THE BUSINESS OF EXPLOITATION, THEY’RE GONNA MILK THIS BITCH DRY, S/O TO ROAD RULES FOR LAUNCHING THE “REALITY” GARBAGE
I’ll admit it…my wife and I have watched every season. When it first came out we decided to watch the first episode to see if we would like it and we did. I don’t know what it is exactly but I find the show funny. The girls are dumb as hell, and the guys are corny. All the drama is funny to watch and Pauly D just makes me laugh with all the funny shit he says. Makes me think I can have my own show…..lol
I’ll admit I watch this show as well. I have no problem with these white kids making fools outta themselves. You might think it a bit racist of me, but I’ll continue to watch the white apes throwing poop at eachother. It beats watching my own people make a fool of themselves…
+1, better them then blacks or hispanics. Show is kinda funny tho.
The average Facebook, texting, Youtube using person can relate. The show is almost no different then recording yourself and your friends on your nights out and showing it on TV. I think the spin-offs will fail because the show works with all of them together so seeing them apart from each other may not go over well.
