RACIST? Sen. John McCain Blames Illegal Immigrants For Massive AZ Fires

Senator John McCain (R-AZ) , yes that John McCain claims that illegal immigrants are at fault for the wildfires raging in Arizona.
“There is substantial evidence that some of these fires are caused by people who have crossed our border illegally,” McCain, said at a press conference Saturday. “They have set fires because they signal others, they have set fires to keep warm, and they have set fires in order to divert law enforcement agents and agencies from them. The answer to that part of the problem is to get a secure border.”
Of course he had evidence of this right? Maybe a matchbox from a manufacturer in Tijuana, maybe a gas can with the word “gasolina” written across it? Nope. Nothing of the sort.
“With the lack of evidence, he might as well also blame aliens from outer space for the fires,” said Angelo Falcon, President of the National Institute for Latino Policy.
In fact U.S. Forest Service spokesman, On Sunday, Tom Berglund, told ABC News that there is no evidence that undocumented had anything to do with the fires.
“Absolutely not, at this level,” Berglund said. “There’s no evidence that I’m aware, no evidence that’s been public, indicating such a thing.”
He did however indicate that the Wallow fire, now the largest wildfire in Arizona history, is believed to be the result of an “escaped campfire.”
The Republicans have been off the chain lately. Naturally, the Latino advocacy groups were all over McCain. The former Presidential hopeful has been waving the anit-immigration law flag for a hot minute and in a state with a high concentration of Mexican-Americans you can imagine such rhetoric strikes a nerve. Regardless of where you stand on the issue, for this pompous windbag to suggest without evidence that those bloodsucking wetbacks cross the border just to start fires and destroy the glorious US of A is ridiculous. This guy needs a reality check. When you live in your lilly white Military insulated world of yours you can’t fathom of a place where people might actually speak another language or dare to have skin a few shades darker than your own.

I do not like John. Never voted for him. But let’s back up here. No, there is no support for his “fire Statement”. Most will protest his beliefs in this area. And, probably, rightfully so. But following the new “Stop them at the boarder” policies in Arizona, it is, of course, VERY possible that an angry immigrant COULD have started a fire in protest.
