Fugitive Warrant issued Jimmy Henchman, Involvement in Drug Ring
Maybe Chuck Phillips was on to something. Is it time we revisit his involvement in 2Pac & Biggie’s murders?
So what do we have here……A federal arrest warrant has been issued for music industry veteran Jimmy “Henchman” Rosemond stemming from his alleged involvement in a cocaine trafficking ring. The New York Post is reporting that the warrant was issues last week. Rosemond has managed high profile music careers of artists such as the Game, Brandy, Akon and Sean Kingston.
Jimmy has always been a very interesting character because despite his success in the music business its been his very checkered past that he’s gained the most notoriety for. Last year he was outed as an State and Federal informant in several cases going way back to 1990. In court documents it was revealed that in exchange for his cooperation, Jimmy received benefits such as leniency in a 2000 gun case. In 2008, revered Los Angeles Times reporter Chuck Phillips implicated Rosemond (and Diddy) in the 1994 ambush of late rapper Tupac Shakur at a New York recording studio that fueled the now famed East Coast/ West Coast Beef that lead to Pac and Biggie’s demise.
While he would file a $100 million lawsuit against the newspaper, all of this has me thinking. Maybe this dude really did have more to do with Biggie and Pac’s murders than we know. This cat has been listed in the footnotes of far too much shady ish to dismiss it all and now he’s on the run? I realize there is such a thing as the “Hip Hop Police” but clearly Rosemond holds the key to many of the game’s darkest mysteries. Mark my words…when all is said and done with this cat, evidence is going to come out linking this dude in someway to some of the biggest news Hip Hop has ever know. Mark my words.

All that matters is his current case. HipHop has progressed too far to go back into the past. He will face the justice system. That’s punishment enough.
All that matters is his current case? That may be true but don’t you think the Hip Hop community deserves to know the truth? No matter how many years have passed, the truth needs to come out. And if he was involved then I hope justice gets served.
Where is the progression? I want to know who and why, we lost the two most important rappers EVER, to gun violence. Eminem and Jay-Z are all we have left, everyone else is pure unadulterated garbage.

This is yet another reason why Hip-Hop is regarded as a bunch of thugs/dealers using the art to help fund their other “intrests.” You never hear Clive Davis or Richard Branson getting caught up in like this. Not saying their hands are clean, at least they’re smart enough get someone to do their dirt.
