SOUND OFF: What’s Your Favorite Nate Dogg Track?

Posted by Juan

Remembering the Man Through his Music.

The Highbrid Nation is still mourning the loss of Nate Dogg, the man who put the “G” in G Funk.  So as we always do about this time we turn the music UP!  He began singing as a child in the New Hope Baptist Church in Long Beach, and at Life Line Baptist Church in Clarksdale, Mississippi, where his father (Daniel Lee Hale) was a pastor.  Nate Dogg and the G Funk Era defined my formidable years.  I can remember the first hearing his voice on the Regulator hook and thinking that hook was so tough.  Unlike anyone in history, Nate Dogg had an uncanny way to make R&B so gangsta.  So here are a few of my favorites, my top five if you will.  SOUND OFF: What is your favorite Nate Dogg track?

Warren G Feat Nate Dogg: “Regulate”

50 Cent Feat Nate Dogg: “21 Questions”

Ludacris Feat Nate Dogg: “Area Codes”

Dr. Dre Feat Snoop Dogg & Nate Dogg: “The Next Episode”

It’s a tie. Regulate & Nobody Does It Better. Both of these tracks feature Warren G! These two guys made classic music together. Can’t forget “Till I Collapse” with Eminem. Man this dude is gonna be missed I swear….RIP Nate Dogg.

Bro I will never forget that song! I remember when it first came out I went bananas over it. Its in my ipod right now. Classic, and yeah that “How Long Will They Mourn Me” is another great classic! Got that in the ipod too! I’m telling y’all Nate is untouchable on them hooks. The rap game is taking a big loss with his untimely death, he was young too. Too many hits under his belt. But I’m thankful he blessed us with all of them. God bless his family.
