For Our Brothers & Sisters In Japan…

Posted by Juan

Lets keep them in our thought’s and prayers

#Japan #Tsunami
Sorry for being a little MIA today.  I’ve been dealing with now multiple deaths in the family as well as being in perpetual SMH mode over the devestation in Japan.  The world is changing.  I used to think it was me and maybe just the product of all the apocalyptic theater that Holly(weird) has put out there in the past few years but now I believe otherwise.  We’ve seen catastrophic hurricanes, floods, storms, blizzards, tornados where there shouldn’t be….

Whatever you believe in, whoever you do, the writing is on the wall.  It might be time to get some of those affairs in order.  I don’t know what’s coming, but if you read the signs…something is.

One thing I do every week, that you all DON’T see is analyze the statistics of Highbrid Nation.  Whose logging on, when, visiting what, for how long and from where.  What I’ve started to realize is what started out as being perhaps an American blog has blossomed into an international community.  Some of the very commenters you spend time with everyday do so from halfway across the earth.  Highbrid Nation is global.

Today, Natural Disaster rocked the core of the lives of many of our Highbrid Nation family.  I ask you all to take some time out and think about that right quick.  If you pray, say a prayer if you don’t…keep the victims and those effected by the powerful earthquake and subsequent tsunami in your thoughts.

Juan, my brother. My heart goes out to you fam. I’m sorry for your losses and I will be praying for you and your family. I haven’t seen what has happened since I left home this morning because I can’t watch streaming videos at work but from the looks of those pictures you have provided I can only imagine the damage that has taken place. I’ll be praying for the people who have been affected by this tragedy as well. Very sad, hope the survivors get as much help as needed if not more. God Bless fam…

My condolences, Juan. My you and your family find comfort and strength in each other and in God…we are a global community. My oldest nephew is married to a beautiful Japanese girl and they are in Japan now visiting her family. Can’t communicate with him. My prayer is that they are all fine and that they return to NY safely. As well as prayers for all Japanese people suffering through this tragedy.

I’m in Tokyo right now, no lie. After the two big ones it kept shaking for hours after. It feet like being on a boat, but you’re on land. According to the reports there might be another big one soon. I went to the store to stock up on dry goods and they’re out of top ramen!

My flights on Tuesday, but I can’t wait to leave. The nuclear reactor has some sort of problem and is leaking. They just had a press conference like they didn’t have all the info, but basically trying not to cause panic. They’ve already evacuated people, so something serious is up.

I don’t believe in signs, but it definitely gives you a new perspective on your current life situation.

I’m just so sick of people dying…..

  6. Juan says:

    Gill,
Thank God you’re ok. I’ve never experienced an earthquake so I can imagine. I will pray that you get out of there safetly on Tuesday as planned. The news of the nuclear reactor is very scary as well. Did they give you pills?

    • gill bates says:

Thanks Juan. I didn’t get any pills, and I hope it won’t get that bad. The power outage is affecting transportation to the airport, but otherwise It should be fine. It’s all good on my end, but feel silly to be leaving all my friends behind. Peace.
