Enemy of the Prez, Republican John Boehner Goes To Bat for Obama?

Posted by Juan

House Speaker Tells “Meet the Press”Obama’s a U.S. born Christian, however…

@barackobama @MEETTHEPRESS @JOHNBOEHNER @davidgregory
In an interesting exchange yesterday (Sunday) morning on “Meet the Press“, House Speaker and outspoken critic of President Obama,  John Boehner told host David Gregory that the President is NOT a Muslim and is a Christian born in the state of Hawaii.  As to not sound too much of an Obama apologist, Boehner said that Americans have a right to think what they want to think adding it’s not his job to tell Americans what to think.

True its not but having more Americans believe so only helps your cause.  Nothing to see here really.  Boehner played this perfectly.  He didn’t feed into the shenanigans which would only have brought heat on himself but also left the door open for naysayers and non-believers to continue their onslaught on the President.  The House Speaker was back to his harsh criticism of the job performance of the President this morning when he sent a letter to the White House illustrating his disappointment and outrage behind the growing Federal deficit stemming from his recently release budget plan.  Ahhhh much more like it.
