So football fans, just like that the NFL season came to a close last night.  Somewhere in Mississippi, the recently retired Brett Favre couldn’t watch as his former team the Green Bay Packers lifted the Lombardi Trophy just three years removed from his departure.  And with that victory we’ll have to wait until September to once again get our gridiron fix.

But what we’re always left with after the Super Bowl is the commercials.  Lots of them as corporate America competes against itself to provide the wittiest, long-lasting 60 Second TV advertisements in attempt to go down in the annals of television advertising history.  Which ones this year grabbed your eye?  Here’s a few to chose from.

VOLKSWAGEN MEETS DARTH VADER

I might not be a Sci-Fi geek or even a Trekie but when it comes to Star Wars, I’m a fan.  So this Volkswagen ad really resonated with me.  Its garnered over 15 million views on YouTube already.  Watch it one more time and lets add to that.

JUSTIN BIEBER AND OZZY OSBOURNE FOR BEST BUY

This kid’s everywhere.  Even before the ad aired, Justin Bieber, as he often is, was among the trending topics on Twitter.  Good to see Ozzy Osbourne again.  Bring back the bloody Osbournes I say chap.  Salute to Best Buy.  That’s a good look.

Chevy Camaro – Miss Evelyn

I think Chevy should create another one with a black woman to air on BET. I’d nominate 2Na$$tee and E.L. Diaz to do the voiceovers. Lol. I wonder how that would go. I’m sure it’d be banned but this one will do in the meantime. Perfect for a Milk Monday.

And despite the fact his Lipton Brisk ad was about how he DOESN’T endorse products, ironically Eminem was I believe the only person to star it TWO ads this year. The one above is his Lipton Brisk and below he’s repping for his hometown Motor City in this new Chrysler ad.

There’s obviously something subliminal the creatives at the ad agency were trying to convey here and I refuse to watch it again.
