So last week I was a little incensed by a composite sketch released by Detroit Police of a serial rape suspect that was tormenting the city preying on women around the city. Today that suspect is in custody.  Detroit police have arrested 31 year old, Raynard Coleman who was taken into custody without incident last Wednesday, after DNA evidence tied him to six of seven assaults that have taken place in the city since January 1,Detroit police Chief Ralph Godbee said.

Thank God for DNA profiling because if we had to rely solely on this composite sketch half of Detroit would have been arrested along with Huey Freeman, Rallo Tubs and most to the black cartoon characters.  That sketch was horrible!  Where did the artist go to school?  Man they should at least give them that art test you see on TV that you mail in before they hire you. The funny thing is the sketch kind of does look like Coleman if you squint really hard.

None the less, another scumbag is off the streets and we can be grateful to the great police work of the Detroit PD for that.   They set up a 24-hour operational command post, which was manned by a specialized joint task force, to receive tips about the attacks, Godbee said. Tips even came in on Facebook, he said.

I happened to catch this yesterday and wanted to bring it to the Nation.  Detroit detectives are searching for a man who they believe sexually assaulted seven women in the less than 3 weeks since New Year’s Day and is believed to have unsuccessfully attempted to  attack another.   According to police, the first attack occurred on Jan. 1, and the most recent attack happened at 2:40 a.m. Thursday, hours.  The suspect is described as black, in his 30s and about 5 feet 9 inches tall. All of the victims are black, and they range in age from 17 to 33 years old, the chief said.Detroit volunteers have been out in force to warn women of the suspected attacker and to circulate this sketch of the suspect.

I’m sorry.  I don’t mean to make light of such a tragic situation but among other things Detroit needs is a new sketch artist.  Are you kidding me?  Who are woman going to look for? Huey Freeman?  Rallo Tubbs from the Cleveland show?  One of Fat Albert’s crew?

I mean lets get serious.  This guy looks like every black dude out.  You might as well have just gave a description and kept it moving.  By daybreak they will have half of Detroit downtown for questioning.  I hate to bag on Detroit but this is a bad job.  I’ll be saying a prayer for the victims and that city that they catch this succa and quick.  Raping women is the lowest of low.
