I love Nicki Minaj but I don’t get her. I guess that’s the point. While I know she’s a very talented emcee she tones down the rhetoric on the record perhaps to appeal to a wider audience or as the cynic in me believes as not to show up her boss Lil Wayne. Music aside, her sense of style and larger yet persona is a constant state of flux. She’s gone from the hip hop sex symbol leaving little to the imagination to the barbie character to the girl of 2,000 wigs to Missy Redux with a body to the new persona, Insane Clown Minaj in Versace. Gotta love her.
i like her style. if i did not have a 9-5 i would be doing some of the outlandish stuff for fashion sake.

Yeah I always thought she didn’t need it she was unique without the weirdo stuff but hey if that’s how she expresses herself I’ve come to grips with it.
