Fabolous, Jim Jones’ Wifeys & Mashonda Get a Bitter ‘Rapper Wives’ Reality Show
I wonder when society became obsessed not only celebrity but the lives of those they love(d).

@VH1
In Hamlet, William Shakespeare once wrote, “To Be, or not to be. That is the question.” Today the question is, how many reality shows are enough. If you’d ask VH1, apparently we’re no where near that number yet. The network known as a haven for celeb-reality has inked Mashonda, singer and ex-wife of producer Swizz Beatz to star alongside Fabolous‘ girlfriend Kimberly Bustamante, and Jim Jones‘ girlfriend Christine “Chrissy” Lampkin. Sound interesting? Yeah we thought not.
The show called “Love & Hip-Hop,” will follow the characters as they traverse the obstacles of their personal relationships with famous significant others all while trying to make it in the entertainment. If that sounds familiar don’t worry you’re not bugging. Sounds a lot like at Basketball Wives / Football Wives/ Tiny and Toya Mashup.
“The show is about strength and womanhood. I’m excited about the show and the women on it,” said Mashonda.
Seriously?! Save perhaps Celebrity Rehab, what reality show is really about “strength”? Come on this is all about the money and the come up. Trying to profit from your relationship with someone famous and subsequent misfortune. It worked for Shaunie O’Neal and you’re hoping it works for you. I’m not mad at you, just no need to sugarcoat it. Make that money. Has our interest in the lives of others truly reached a point where not only is society obsessed with celebrity but the lives of those they love(d).

THE END IS NEAR. REPENT!!! LOL
Is it me or is Mashonda kinda sexy?
Besides the point, but a good point none the less.
Smh… Don’t these ladies, term lady used loosely, know that the only way to retain their “celebrity” status is the same way they became famous in the first place…… by getting buuuuckeeet naaakeeed!!!! (que stripper music…)
Jim Jones isn’t even relevant… half of america will be like who is that guy and why is his girl on my tv talking about NUFFIN… Mashonda he is with Ms. Keys.. he isn’t coming back… no man would leave that… i give it one season… Bring back K.Cole and Frankie… lol now that is entertainment…
Lol.true..
I agree with you Juan,I think that a reality show has been made about every aspect of life. Atleast this isn’t another “Of Love” show though, I’m tired of those. I’m almost tired of reality shows period, except for Celebrity Rehab, the Real World, & the “Challenge” shows(MTV), I also watch Full Throttle Saloon(Tru TV)& all of the Kardashian shows(E!) PEACE!!!
I like the show. Chrissy is the girl. Her style is much like my own. Iam not talking about clothes!
