New Slimmer Raven Symone Misses The Hips and Thick Thighs
Says she’s now uncomfortable being slim. “I thought I looked fabulous when I was heavy”
Former Cosby Show and Disney Channel star Raven Symone is kicking off the new year with a slimmer and trimmer figure. She showed off the new look at Wednesday’s People’s Choice Awards but surprisingly the actress who once described herself as “thick and fabulous” is anything but thrilled.
“Actually, now I wear bigger clothes because I don’t like the way people stare at me,” she says. “I liked it before. Now, you’re just looking at me for the wrong reasons. Before, you were actually looking at me for a real reason.”
“I thought I looked fabulous before and nobody else did,” she tells People. “So, whatever.”

I guess she wasn’t spending to much time around the fellas at Highbrid Nation. The “That’s So Raven” star says the stress of the everyday grind producing the show was a major factor to her weight gain.
“That’s what stress does to you,” Symoné says. “I’ve been not stressing. I’ve been in my own house, decorating and finding hobbies.”
I know this is usually Chef’s jurisdiction but I wanted to weigh-in (no pun intended) on the topic really quick. Its interesting how different sects of society can view women as objects differently. The truth is most black men (that like black women) would probably prefer the thicker Raven while those the spend more time around the Maxim would prefer and gwak at her now. Goes to show you as much as we chose to ignore it, attraction is almost exclusively introduced in the physical. Now I for one remember her as “Olivia” in the Cosby household and yeah, that’s not an image I can define as “sexy” no matter how much she’s grown up.

I agree with you Juan. I remember her too as 3 going on 30 smart ass Olivia. So yeah she’s pretty but “sexy” I just can’t do!
I just got finished watching the Cosby Show on Centric….. so totally feel what you are saying…. But she does look better with some size on her….
Yep, me too…I can’t find any young artist “sexy” that I watched grow up. Maybe it’s because I have daughters.
She’s 100x’s sexier thinner. I know, what else would you expect me to say but she made herself more Universally attractive when she lost weight. She isn’t getting that Queen Latifah, some would hit it but most guys would just be her friend, response from guys. I’m sure she’s getting more aggressive guys who are more sexually attracted to her now more then ever. Now she’s even attractive to White dudes, too. If I were her friend before I’d be asking her out, now.
Yo skinnygirlover , I feel u playboy but I prefer her thicker than a snicker or thicker than Maple Syrup in the Fridge.In AmeriKKKa thin is in bcuz it’s what White boys like if White boys in general were n2 thick chicks like most African American and Hispanic males then she would be considered attractive more marketable etc.I am feeling Raven thick and top heavy Throw some “Double Deez” on me . Keisha aka Rudy looks better a little thin but not real thin. Hollywierd considers Beyonce and Kim Kardashin Full figured how funny. We consider them real women as far as body image 4 women .
