SOUND OFF: Should Amar’e Be Clubbing w/ Lebron & Heat on The Eve of MSG Showdown?
Should rivals be enemies OFF-THE-COURT as well? Especially so close to such a big game?

@KingJames @amareisreal @DWADEOFFICIAL
I like the New York Football Giants and love the New York Mets ( I know) but when it comes to the NBA I root for Golden State Property. But for local Knicks fans they once again have a little something to get excited about at the Garden. While many wrote the team off after they missed the boat along with the rest of the league on Lebron James despite cutting almost the entire payroll, the free agent they did sign, Amar’e Staoudemire has energized the team. Despite losing a heartbreaker on Wednesday the team is in the middle of a stretch that has them on an 8 of 9 win tear. On the flip side, despite a very slow start and amid much criticism over his “decision” Lebron and the Heat are ballin out of control crushing teams leaving them for dead in their wake.
Something has to give as the two teams battle at MSG tonight. But instead of being focused on the matchup, going over game plans or doing some silly visualization exercise, both James and Staudamire took to the club last night, THE SAME club.
According to the New York Daily News Stoudemire and his opponent were popping bottles at the 1Oak on W. 17th in the Chelsea section of Manhattan arriving at the venue withing 15 minutes of each other. The party which was promoted to welcome the King James to his court away from home featured balloons which spelled out his name. Miami Heat teammate Dwyane Wade, his shorty Gabrielle Union and Jets wide-receiver Braylon Edwards were also in attendance
Not to be outdone, Stoudemire was flanked by Kanye’s former bun, model Amber Rose. Plaxico Burress and his gun were invited however he had a prior engagement and had to decline.
Tonight’s game is being pitted as the biggest at Madison Square Garden since the days of Patrick Ewing. Courtside tickets are going for as much as $79,000 on StubHub.com, and the game was the top-selling Knicks contest in the 10-year history of site. So with the resurgent Knicks looking for a big win to validate their status as a contender and the Heat looking to continue to quiet the critics in perhaps the most hostile territory was it cool for these stars to be hanging out albeit OFF the court? SOUND OFF!

I didn’t wanna be seen in the same club as Lebron, so I declined the invite…I could care less about who parties with whom. It’s not like the old days, when opponents truly didn’t like each other and the animosity would carry off the court…The way guys switch teams, they may be on the same team next season…Props to Amar’e for manning up and playing the way he’s playing…other than that gay pic he took for ESPN, he’s had a great year!
I don’t see a problem. It’s NBA basketball in December. This game ain’t that crucial.
yea i feel you skinny, its bball, nothing else, these are the best of the best, they can wake up anytime and be great on the court…A night out won’t hurt…. Everybody smashing Amber damn
damn juan you spelled stoudemire 3 different ways.lmao
I did? How is it spelled? Haze you been around long enough to know I can’t spell worth ish.
Unless he was giving away plays, it shouldn’t matter.
