Banned in England, What does this Italian Ice Cream company’s print ad say to you?

This ad for Italian ice cream company, Antonio Federici was recently pulled from Look magazine when Britain’s Advertising Standards Authority deemed it in appropriate.
The tag line read “We Believe in Salivation.”
I’m not sure what’s going on here but its clearly a little homosexual. But is homosexuality in advertising worthy of banning? So why did they pull it from the shelves?
“We considered the portrayal of the two priests in a sexualized manner was likely to be interpreted as mocking the beliefs of Roman Catholics and was therefore likely to cause serious offense to some readers,” the ASA said. The ad was banned because of the fear it might cause a massive disturbance, especially among Roman Catholics.

I think if that they weren’t in catholic priest garb we probably wouldn’t have noticed it. If they were in Muslim attire, the advertisers would have been bombed already. It is a direct mocking of the church. In any case…this ad didn’t make me want to try it…

Well, if you didn’t know already the ENTERTAINMENT BIZ is full of people of ‘different’ sexual orientation(s). As time progresses and it becomes more accepted, they feel more at liberty to push their agenda in the open. It’s just a different aesthetic that’s going down now. It’s always been there, just not as in your face.
Not that I buy that stuff from them, but the reason why Ambercrombie & Fitch has muscled white dudes in their ad is because the art director is a gay photographer famous for his ‘erotic male images’. They just built their marketing around that dudes fantasies.
Yet u will still never see a Black man and White Women in an erotic ad ever. U may see a white dude and a sista but never a black man and white woman.My point is being Gay is accepted waaaaaaaaaay more than interracial blk male/white female I don’t see any1 trying 2 push that down any1′s throats so Y push being gay in every damn thing that’s in the media.I have nothing against Gays at all matter fact I wish all men were Gay more ladies 4 me.I see have Gay is being marketed a “the norm” they are selling but I aint buying .
They are pushing three buttons on this one, one minor button (interracial), the second button is (Gay) and that will still get a rise out of most people but then they went for Religion. Interracial + Gay + Religion equals banned.
