After Last Nights Democratic Beatdown, Jay-Z Says He Could Do Better
Could a 2018 Presidential run be in the sights for the Jiggaman?

@Jayz @nattiejam @BBC
Disenfranchised by last political drubbing at the hand of the GOP, Jay-Z may feel that he could do better than the Democrats that he’s supported. During an interview with Natalie Jamieson on the BBC a more radio rounds while in the U.K. and during his interview with BBC’s Natalie Jamieson, he speculates that in 2018, maybe he’d run for U.S. President.
“Give me a chance. Maybe in eight years, I’ll be the president. In order to judge someone, you have to judge what they inherit In order to get to that sort of success and that dream, you have to go through some peaks and valleys. He inherited the worst economy, war, just a horrible time in American history. So if we think he can solve that, I mean, we don’t think he’s God, do we. He’s a human being. He’s going to need time to figure that out. But it may be a good thing. Maybe the Republicans will win one of those houses, so this way they’ll have to be responsible for whether a law gets passed, and they can’t put it on Obama. In order to get to that sort of success and that dream, you have to go through some peaks and valleys. It’s been two years.”
Ok lets get one thing straight, No rapper will EVER win the Presidency. By design, a prerequisite to be a credible artists means that you would never get past the party’s handlers in any vetting process. Plus Jay-Z’s waaaay too smart to run for President. He’s rich and has all the power already, by becoming President he’d be responsible to way more people than his is now. Doesn’t make sense but I think we all know he was halfheartedly joking about that anyway.
Jay is right about one thing however, if there’s one thing the Republicans DID do last night is they put their hat in the ring as from henceforth also being responsible for this mess of an economy that previously belonged to Obama and his party.
