HIGHBRID NATION REMEMBERS: Harlem World’s Own Huddy Combs
Hip Hop loses another soldier

One of the harsh realities of the ever growing Hip Hop empire is that news of unfortunate passings have become more frequent. While critics of our culture would argue we only die at the hand of another we know this not to be the case.
Today, the Highbrid Nation family mourns the lost of Harlem icon Huddy Combs also known as Huddy 6 who died Wednesday in a fatal car accident on I-95′s George Washington Bridge which connects New York and New Jersey. This is the same bridge that Rutgers Student, Tyler Clemente threw himself from in in committing suicide. (I only mention that for reference.)
According to the Port Authority report Huddy born Andre Hudson “was traveling southbound towards New Jersey on the George Washington bridge when his vehicle struck a truck…[Andre] Hudson was pronounced [dead] on the scene and the female passenger was taken to [Hackensack Medical University Center].”
While Huddy wasn’t well known to most casual fans of Hip Hop he was best known as a close friend and mainstay of entourages for both Mase and Cam’ron. To this day Cam’ron credits Huddy with saving his life after he was shot twice when leaving a party in Washington, D.C.

RIP.
.
I actually saw the after-effects of this accident on the morning news on Wednesday. The accident totally shut down that direction of the GWB and slowed the other side to a crawl. I remember seeing the severly mangled vehicle and thinking to myself how in bad shape the driver must be in…….
R.I.P
No disrespect, but wasn’t it pretty common knowledge that his real job was dope dealing? And for reference only, didn’t he try his hand at rapping a few times?
