What’s up Nation! The kid is back. I know, I know yall are probably pissed at me. I was a little under the weather and we were having some problems with our image loader for the site so I couldn’t get any Fat Backs up for yall but I promise to make it up to you this afternoon. In the meantime, between time lets examine Soledad O’Brien. You know the name. She’s the racially ambiguous chica from CNN who moderated the Black in America series.
Apparently she the 44-year-old newswoman was horseback riding in Brewster, N.Y., with her daughters when she got thrown off her horse and blew out her knee. She’s now on crutches apparently and will be having surgery. Damn. I didn’t know she was 44. I gotta admit she looks great for her age but would you give her the correspondent? SMASH or PASS?!

very good point. I think light skinned Latinas in particular feel the need to identify with the “white” in order to get ahead. Kill any accent ONLY when its convenient. Let someone discuss Hispanic heratage and they become an expert.
