SOUND OFF: Whose The Best Mobile Carrier?
So what is your opinion? We know you have one.

If you are reading this and you are a red blooded American, then at some point you have gotten into an argument with someone about why your mobile service provider is better than the others. I would like to pose this very question to the Nation. Personally I have always been a Sprint man. I got my first cell phone in 2000 and have been with them since. Though the customer service was piss poor early on, it had gotten much better when CEO Dan Hesse came aboard. I believed so much in Sprint that I even bought some shares of the company. However a recent event with my phone has really left a bad taste in my mouth and I have been thinking about defecting to Verizon to join my wife on a family plan. Though it would be cheaper, I am not really excited about Verizon’s line up of phones. There seems like there are so many things to consider. Price. Phones Available. Customer Service. Data Plans. Data Speeds. It all makes figuring out what is best nearly impossible.
So Nation I’m turning it over to you. Who is the overall best carrier? Sprint? Verizon? T-Mobile? At&T? Or maybe some smaller carrier that doesn’t have the same brand awareness as the big four?

now I have been all of these carriers, and really 9 times out of 10 whatever carrier you choose, wont have the phone you want! I have been with T-Mobile the longest with no problems. There not the biggest but my is great withthe Blackberry. Had problems with them when I had an android phone.
I was with sprint for about 10 years, but recently switched to Verizon to get in to a Droid2 phone. I’ve been happy with both carriers.

If you’re looking for a long-term phone, go with one that uses the Android operating system. I know that the I-phone is the ‘cool’ phone to have, but Android is going to take over the world, and you’ll want to be an early adopter.
Android is going to? It HAS! Its Google just packaged a little different so people forget. Apple is great but it doesn’t have the power of Google.
Add to that the fact that the Android OS is free (compared with Blackberry/Apple/WinMobile), and it’s an easy bet.

The battle in the mobile OS war is identical to the Microsoft vs Apple battle in the early computer age, and the results will be the same (for the same reasons)
Come on this is easy. Verizon blows everyone out he water. Best network, quality and selection of phones. The only upperhand that AT&T has is rollover minutes and of course the iPhone.
I switched from Sprint about 6 years ago and have never considered changing despite the higher rates. Its worth it when your mobile phone is your most important tool. DROOOOOOID!

I worked for Sprint for like 6 years as a technician, I had a free phone plan with them all that time. For some reason when I left, after they were fronting on me financially advancing in the company, I went to a regular consumer plan, and was and still am getting 27% off of my monthly bill. At this point I have had Sprint for 12 years, come this February.

As much as I want to leave due to the AT&Ts Iphones and Verizons Andriods that 27% discount keeps calling me like Crack did to Pookie…. So Sprint is my cell phone provider until I stop being a cheap ass!! Dont hold your breath…
