Kanye West: Lloyd Banks is ‘prolly the most underrated MC in the Game’. Cosign?

Posted by Juan

But what about the whole 50 Cent/ G-Unit vs. Kanye Beef?

@50cent @kanywest @lloydbanks
During the life cycle of any good businessman he will face a time where he must reinvent himself or face extinction.  Following a few rough years 50 Cent may have faced that reality recently.  In a recent interview with MTV’s 1515 in promotion of his upcoming album he revealed that he might be looking to reconcile some of those old beefs including one of his most public with rapper/ producer Kanye West who himself is facing his own crossroad.

“I sat with Swizz [Beatz]; I’mma try to get in with him. Don’t even be surprised if you hear me and Kanye, just talented artists — period. I’mma collaborate and make a monster this time. Ain’t nobody off limits to me in my head. If creatively they have something they feel is something for the project, I’m with it.”

While I doubt he’ll be hitting up Fat Joe or Ja Rule anytime soon but if his tweet about Lloyd Banks is any indication, Kanye may also be ready to bury the hatchet.

@KanyeWest: Yo man Loyd Banks prolly the most underrated MC in the game… Man he deserve to be top 5 at least!

Last week it was Swizz Beatz who was the best producer in the game and now ‘Ye is claiming Banks is the Most Underrated emcee.  Does he have an argument?  SOUND OFF: Who do YOU Think is the most underrated rapper in the game right now?

  2. SinSational says:

Underrated but not the MOST underrated. He definitely 50cent best money maker. Shoulda kept Buck though! There’s and underrated mc…

  3. Jaypream says:

That title has to go to Fabolous in my opinion. Dude has been dropping heat for a minute now. He got metaphors for days and his flow is sick.

  4. Drew Dastardly says:

Lloyd Banks got lame when he started eating good… I would have cosigned that sh!t in 2001-2003 or 4.

  5. 2NA$$TEE says:

Anybody ever heard of Rakim as in Eric B and Rakim.U talk about underrated , and I am so west coast bias but Rakim Nas, Jigga, KRS 1, Em even Luda.Oh Nipsy Hustle got throw in a Weesssst Coast Ryda in the mix.

  6. ChirstLike86 says:

Kanye is just LOST, dude just trying too hard to become LEGENDARY in the world of HIPHOP. Ive been a YE fan since College Dropout but as of late, he’s just been pissing me off with his “POWER” trips. His lyrics no longer boost the listeners moral about lifes ups & downs. Now he’s just a bragger rapper like his “BIG BROTHER” Jigga. He could have atleast mention Juelz who spit 10x harder than Banks on his single “B.B.B.”…

  7. DJ SoUnDBoyy121 says:

  8. DinkInDC says:

  9. Devante says:

Kanye West is right Lloyd Banks is definitely one of the hottest rappers in the game right now. That 50 Cent and G-Unit crew spawned so many talented rap artists including Lloyd Banks. My favorite Lloyd Banks rap song is the hot collaboration he did with 50 Cent entitled “On Fire” which also featured a hot Lloyd Banks and 50 Cent music video which is definitely one of the hottest rap & hip hop music videos that Lloyd Banks has ever released. He was also featured on the remix of the 50 Cent rap song “P.I.M.P” which was a hot track too with an equally hot rap music video.
