SOUND OFF: Is Jay-Z Doing it TOO BIG by Buying His Wife an ISLAND for her Birthday?
I guess the recession is relative right?

This weekend the incomparable, Shawn Carter made Birdman and his 900 Carat necklace look like a sour power/ bazooka candy purchase. In a baller move that was sure to make Riley Freeman and Thugnificent proud of, Jay-Z demonstrated his love for his wife, Beyoncé or at least that his paper is long. According to the “ever reliable media source”, Mediatakeout Hov dropped a cool $20 million to cop a small island in the Florida Keys for her 29th birthday. Nah its not a game. The island which is a reported 12.5 acres is about 2.5 miles offshore and only accessible via air and sea. I guess now she’ll have all the privacy she needs to test out that diamond studded S&M whip that Lady Gaga gave her for her birthday.
So think about that when you’re calculating your peanuts trying to make ends meet so you can pay the rent or mortgage. An island son….an island. God Bless him.

Someone is making money in a recession. If I had the money to buy an island, I would. An island for my wife? I don’t know…she might get out of line and I might get pissed off and want to take the island away. I like Jay-Z(as a rapper…he can rap to me), I think that he acts “stuck up” as a person sometimes though, jus’ going by what I’ve seen on TV though. I must admit though, this is a super big baller move. PEACE!!!!
