So its a wrap. The woman synonymous with Baby Phat will be leaving the company on September 1st. In 2004, Russell Simmons sold Phat Fashions, the parent company for Baby Phat and Phat Farm for $140 million dollars in cash to Kellwood Co. No small coincidence, Kimora bounced on Russell soon after and continued to be principle a Baby Phat. Kimora has already transitioned to new projects like her KLS collection, Kouture by Kimora and Fabulosity lines and Russell is still meditating and banging models. Speaking of bang…SMASH or PASS?!
