Rick Ross Brings ‘Big Meech’s’ Momma Out On Stage

Posted by Juan

Instead of sampling beats, Ross samples real gangster’s lives and makes it his own

Its like 4pl says all the time, no one cares about the authenticity of rap anymore.  I think hip hop has transgressed into the mold of the WWE.  Its entertainment that you already know going in is fake.  How can a man who was exposed as a Corrections officer not only steal the moniker of a REAL gangster who spent half of his adult life in jail.  On top of that he calls himself the “Teflon Don” of course an obvious rip of the nickname belonging to an even more gangsta gangster in John Gotti.  To top it off he goes and creates a song shouting out two American Gangsters, Big Meech and Larry Hoover.  What do all these people have in common?  They all spent a lot of time in a prison.  The difference is Rick Ross was the only one on the outside of the bars and is currently benefiting.

Ross is a great rapper, but most rappers have fictional pasts. Only the West Coast cats like C-Bo and Messy Marv really do penitentiary time. These others are all like storybook tellers.
