Wyclef Obama Sheds Some Insight On His Presidential Madness
Hoax or a History in the making?
@wyclef #haiti
I’ve said from the beginning and refuse to back down on my belief that Wyclef Jean‘s whole Haitian Presidential Campaign is ill-conceived and without the best interest of the Haitian people in mind. Instead I see it as the egotistical wet dream of one overzealous rapper with dual citizenship who took his infatuation with President Obama and his song “If I were President” a bit too far. Yet I’m not going to hate on a man’s right to live out a dream although the timing might not be right for testing out a new political profession on a very vulnerable people that might just vote for him given his popularity in the country.
Despite my insignificant criticisms, Clef presses on and recently shed some light about his platform and what exactly motivates him and just how logistically he is able to. Not to Clef: If you’re trying to do your best Obama impression you might want to lose the track suits and the Beat By Dre over-sized headphones while on the campaign trail.
