Alvin Greene Goes On the Attack In Low Budget First Political Ad

If this were the Apollo it would be Amateur Night and unfortunately they’d probably sick Sandman on him

@gogreene2010 @greeneforsenate
Highbrid Nation’s favorite underdog is back and this time on the attack.  South Carolina Democratic Senatorial candidate Alvin Greene recently launched his first political TV ad attacking incumbent Republican Senator, Jim Dement for schmoozing with Wall Street Fat Cats.

Hmmmm…I will say one thing.  If grassroots was what the Greene “camp” was going for it was every bit of that sprinkled in with a little Senior Class President edited on the Apple iMovie app for the iPhone.   I’m being nice.  Its pretty cheesy but after all what more would expect.  He’s running on a platform of being the incredible underdog.  No money, no job and no friends in high places and a whole lot of followers in and out of the Highbrid Nation who quite frankly are tired of the bs and wouldn’t mind seeing an incredible long shot take down an incumbent favorite and shake up the whole political process.  You know a real feel good story.

But if he’s going to make history he’s got a lot of ground to pick up.  Recent polls have him trailing Senator DeMint by a whopping 42 percentage points and only 46% of his colleagues in the Democratic party support him. OUCH!  But stranger things have happened before…the last time he won an election.

    He’s getting stronger. He just has a long way to come. How many Senatorial Candidates would you say get support outside of their own state?

  5. Malcolm says:

    When I went to vote this week in the primary, I saw that the republican candidate was running unopposed. I can’t tell you how tempted I was to pull a greene if it happens again :)
