New Black Panther Party Leader Praises Osama bin Laden

Posted by Juan

Calls him a bold man who should be praised for “bringing reform”

#NewBlackPanthers #OsamaBinLaden
Lets get something very straight, the NEW Black Panther Party does not equal the original and only Black Panther Party for Self Defense. As the son of a Black Panther mother I respect a defend the methods and teachings of the Black Panther Party started by Brother Huey P. Newton and Brother Bobby Seale in Oakland back in the 1960′s and 70′s.

As for the New Black Panther Party I’ll admit I’m not as familiar but from what I’ve seen first hand and in research the group is a very volatile and committed to generating attention with off-the-wall doctrine. Case in point this new video of its leader, Malik Zulu Shabazz which recently surfaced.

We already know I’m as cynical a person as there is and am not naive enough to believe that the facts of the 9/11 attacks are exactly or even remotely consistent with the story as we know it and was reported.  However not even I would be so bold as to praise Osama bin Laden and herald him as a brilliant man “standing up” and “bringing reform”.  His comments are concluded by asking for a round of applause for “Mr. Bin Laden.”

While I agree to state that Osama bin Laden was behind the 9/11 and other terrorist attacks is a matter for debate, to somehow praise him is laughable.  This man is a man that has said he is committed to harming innocent American civilians.  Yeah there are all types of conspiracy theories out there but Malik Zulu Shabazz’s argument is lame.  I could be wrong you tell me.

I first saw Malik Zulu Shabazz while he was a student at Howard. He graduated and has a law degree. Former NOI Minister, the late Dr. Khallid Muhammad, took him under his wing when Bro. Khallid was silenced by Min. Farrakhan (much like The Hon. Elijah Muhammad silenced Malcolm X) and Bro. Khallid became the leader of the New Black Panther Party. After Bro. Khallid died, Malik became the figurehead of the organization. Since then, rather than having an agenda resembling the empowering and community-uplifting agenda of the original Black Panthers, Malik resorts to just what you say, acting “very volatile and committed to generating attention with off-the-wall doctrine.” Although he was often seen at NOI rallies, he never had the self-discipline to become a member. Or, maybe his ego is just too big.
    .
I look at Malik as the polar opposite of Rev. Jackson and Rev. Sharpton. However, he is just as inept and inefficient because he is perceived as a caricature, not to be taken seriously. These people do a great deal of harm to Black people in this country because they are always in front of a microphone “representing”.

I feel like I should leave something here that adequately and intellectually expresses my thoughts and feelings. But I think that as a New York native, fuck that fagget ass nigga, will do.

  3. Jaypream says:

Any credibility he had went out the window with that statement

  4. RUTHLESSNYC says:

    LOL

  5. Malcolm says:

Well let’s think about this… Either he believes what he’s saying or he doesn’t.
    .
If he DOESN’T believe what he’s saying, then he’s a charlatan who has no business leading people.
    .
If he DOES believe what he’s saying, then he’s either insane or seditious, and has no business leading people.

Now this is an interesting post, Juan, considering your background.
I will not out go out and verbally bash this young man because it has been done. This is a person who is obviously misguided and is also looking for a publicity. Advertising ignorance is bad press…but…any press is good press for a person looking to make a name for himself. Unfortunately, this man is a head of an organization which will outwardly claim leadership to a mass of people…remind you of anyone? (Jessie? Al?)
This is why people must step up their minds. read books..help one another. take a page from the Jews or the chinese or the Africans. They have communities in the united states. It is time for people to stop being clumped under an umbrella of foolishness by the words of a fool.

But then again, as we all know, most people won’t do anything and will just sit and wait for a problem to happen before making a move. Sigh…it’s annoying.

This fool, shabazz, will be crushed under the rule of a company very soon. The white man won’t let this nonsense go on for too long. I’m not siding with the poisons, i’m just saying that they won’t allow some fool spout nonsense for too long..especially one who is siding with a person who is about killing innocent people. I just hope that Obama doesn’t do or say something neutral in response to this. Every day I see nonsense like this I keep saying to myself “This wouldn’t happen under Fidel.”

I don’t know much about this young man and for what he stands for, i know this country is far from being righteous, but to make a statement to agree with anything that osama has so called acomplished is sad for what the original black panters stood for. It’s one thing to get attention but to make a off the wall statement like this is crazy. Osama takes pride in the killing of several thousand inocent people on 9/11 and he should be praised!!! WHERE IS REV. JACKSON NOW??

  10. E.L.Diaz says:

In true Hollywood fashion, people in the U.S. are always given a hero. Where there is a hero, there has to be a villain. There has been a long list of both. When Bin Laden was fighting the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan, he was a hero. The “terrorist camps” were run by CIA and British intelligence, teaching them how to fight and providing weapons. With the West’s help, The Mujaheddin kicked the Soviets out. The tables have turned now that the U.S. wants what the Soviets wanted then. Now they are terrorists and Bin Laden the Most hated man in the world. He was conveniently used as the face of evil when a someone was needed to blame for the 911 attacks. Maybe he did it, I dunno. I certainly don’t believe everything I hear on the news or coming out military talkingheads’ mouths…
At one point, Saddam Hussein was an ally as well. In fact, on the Superbowl pregame show, when Pittsburgh won in Detroit, they said that “The Bus” was only the second man to receive the keys to the city of Detroit. The first: Saddam Hussein…..sooo, U.S. officials have no moral ground to stand on when they start demonizing these “evil” men in other countries….I can go on naming names too: Panama’s Noriega, Cuba’s Batista, Dom. Rep’s Trujillo, and all the prime ministers Israel has had, just to name a few.
