SOUND OFF: Are You Mad That Dr. Dre Is Giving Beats To Justin Bieber?

Pop Teen Idol, Justin Bieber has taken the music industry hostage, snatching up the limited available album sales and leaving mere crumbs for artists of all genres. And to make matters worse, it appears he’s also pilfering beats from one of Hip Hop’s most esteemed producers, Dr. Dre.
If you believe a tweet from earlier in the week sent by Bieber, Dre took time out from his Mad Science Project aka the perpetually pending “Detox” album to bless the 16-year-0ld with some beats.
Justinbieber: “Got to be in the studio with the legend himself Dr. Dre,”
Justinbieber: “Made a couple beats and he gave me some advice…i was hyped. can u blame me?”
What’s the world coming to. Well given the fact there’s currently a scarcity of emcees deemed worthy enough of Dre’s Beat’s why not go left field and let Beiber candy them up. After all, at least you’ll know the tracks will sell. But its Bieber right? Isn’t Dre selling out Hip Hop in favor of “greener” pastures in pop culture? Let the debate commence. SOUND OFF: Should Dr. Dre be giving Beats to pop artist like Bieber?

And to answer your question: NO!!! dre make garbage beats too. they may be garbage to him but a damn gold bar to someone else bc they know it came from him. therefor, dre might let that garbage beat go for free and itll still sell bc people kno its a ‘dr’ beat. doesnt matter who album its on.
Dre’s a business man, and Hip Hop has infiltrated just about every aspect of white America, so no he hasn’t sold out. I mean even if he decided not to do a beat for Bieber, Em’s still bumbing over a Dre beat in some suburban two story house with a white pickett fence.
It’s about the money…. not to many artist are selling tickets the way Bieber has been… hip hop artist collaborate with rock and pop artist, i don’t see why Dr. Dre can’t give Bieber beats or advice…

Not about Justin Bieber, but just in general. Just been in a Mr. Bad Guy funk lately…. I need Bria to come over so I can lay my head on her booty…(Sigh)
Anywho, one rule on the journey of financial independance is not to place all your eggs in one basket, as GZA said you got to diversify your bonds bitches…and that’s what Doc Dre is doing.
With the current state of hip-hop there aren’t too many solid players to work with, why not get that money elsewhere. Why not with Justin Beiber?
His songs are easier to listen to than some of the Hip-Hop out. And he has a larger fan base than a lot of rappers out.
And most important, these white teeny boppers BUY music!!!

Word!! It’s about money. Justin Bieber is being handed anything. He has to pay a premium to get a beat from Dre just like anyone else.
I wouldn’t be mad at Dre for selling him a beat or producing a song for him. Although, this story does sound like Dre just gave him an opinion about a beat and that’s all.
