Which Baseball Beef Was Better? Zambrano v. Lee or Longoria v. Upton
Tempers flare as the summer baseball season heats up.

Every summer in the hood it seems that violence always seems to escalate. Its usually a product of everyone being outside because its too hot to stay in. With the hot and humid weather tempers flare easier and cooler heads less often prevail. It reminds me of that famous Ghost and Raekwon skit.

So over the weekend similar tensions flared as two struggling baseball teams, the Chicago Cubs and Tampa Bay Rays experienced some inter-fighting among players in the dugout in response to some lackluster play. But SOUND OFF: Whose beef was better? Carlos Zambrano v. Derrek Lee or Evan Longoria v. B.J. Upton (Tampa Bay)
CZ was better… way more justified… Derrek Lee has been trash lately…. he needed to pop off…
yeah but wasn’t BJ just being lazy by not running after the ball?
Yea true, but thats what you always get with Upton… so it didn’t surprise me..they benched him before for this type of effort.. ever since he came into the league he has shown minimal effort… However he has good offense i believe that is the only reason he is in the league…
Man, I can’t stand pro athletes who don’t hustle! Upton, Hanley Ramirez, and even Jimmy Rollins, have a history of dogging it. I couldn’t be on that team and not tell them about it and if they pop off, go upside their head! I played high school and college baseball, basketball, and football (some years not all three). Man, I played my ass off and if you beat me it was because you were better, not because I didn’t give it my all, all the time…Upton is so talented, but he’ll never reach his potential playing like that, and then wanting to fight when someone tells him about himself…Longoria punked out! he should have punched him in his mouth when he rose up on him like that!
