You asked for it and we’re delivering.  The Excess Bangers Mixtape series is back!!! Jumping off July 4th Weekend, the new and improved Excess Bangers Mixtape Series will team up with RepPghhiphop.com, Your One Stop Shop for Pittsburgh Hip Hop to bring you all of the hottest from the underground up!  Your man KuSToM a.k.a. Karboso will once again hold you down serving up the hottest joint from all the artists you know and some you don’t know yet.

As the Excess Bangers Mixtape series has grown in popularity we’ve literally received hundreds of independent tracks for consideration.  So while we’ll still be accepting submissions from all you up and coming producers and recording artist we’re gonna be remixing the process.  As the Excess Bangers series has been so largely supported by social networking we’re giving back to the artists that rely on these platforms heavily to promote their music.

So here’s how its gonna work.  If you’re an artist with a growing following online who would like to submit music for consideration on this or future Excess Bangers editions follow the steps below.

1.  Make sure you meet all of the following pre-requisites

500 Twitter Followers
1000 Myspace or Facebook Friends
At Least One Embeddable Viral Music Video online (ie: YouTube)

2.  Email us your package to ExcessBangers at Gmail dot com no later than JUNE 23rd at 11:59PM  (Any submissions sent anywhere else may not be considered)  Your Package should include:

Links to 5 STUDIO QUALITY Songs (Required)
Links to your Music Video, Your Twitter page and to your Myspace or Facebook pages (Required)
Contact Information (Required)
Your Biography
High Quality Press Photo
EPK (If available)

Karboso will sample your music and consider it for inclusion on the next Excess Bangers mixtape.  If selected you will be notified via your contact information provided no later than June 24th!  Selected artist will be eligible for Highbrid Nation official “Excess Bangers  Certified” stamp, prizes and may qualify for:

A Feature on Highbrid Nation with an exclusive interview
Online Promotional Campaign from Highbrid Nation Digital Street Team
An Ad Campaign on Highbrid Nation’s Music pages
