Celtics Win Game Two of the NBA Finals
Led by a record breaking night for sharp shooter Ray Allen
I can admit when I’m wrong, and boy was I wrong when I predicted the Boston Celtics would win game 1 of the NBA finals against the LA Lakers . Not even an impropmtu comedy routine from Chris Rock could break Kobe’s focus Pau had 23 & 13 and the Celtics look old and tired as the Lakers coasted to 102-89 victory. I was running like Re-Run behind the Lakers bandwagon (look it up youngins) until game 2.
The Celtics came out with a different kind of bounce in game 2 Ray Allen was on fire in the first half tying the NBA record for 3 point shots in the finals going 7 for 7 at one point. Allen later broke the record and ended up w/32 points total. Rajon Rando had a triple double which catapulted the Celtics past LA in a 103-94 victory. Where was Kobe you ask? He was sidelined literally and figuratively by foul trouble throughout the game.
The series heads back to Boston for the next 3 gamesĀ (BTW I’m I the only one who thinks the 2-3-2 model is the real home court advantage) and although my first prediction was wrong my second of the series going 7 games looks to be in good shape. So who’s winning game 3 nation sound off. (Game Blouses!)

2-3-2 works wonders for a team if they can win one on the road in the first 2 games. I want the Celtics to win 3 in a row but Kobe is playing possessed. He was off in game 2. Sugar Ray needs to keep it going for game 3. Rondo has been on a mission the entire playoffs…. Keep it up money.
I still see Boston to win in 6
Boston in six though? Thats ambitous u think the lakers will only win one more game for the series? I dunno about that gotta run with Boston in 7.
I have no idea….I got nothing from these 2 games as far as trends and/or match ups. The Lakers won game 1 with defense. What?! The Celtics won game 2 with shooting. What?! Both teams won games using the others strengths, so as far as I’m concerned anything could happen and it’s just fun to watch.
I think this will be a epic series… literally the “clash of the titans”…
Those Queens brothas will come thru in the next games in Boston. LA in game 7.
