New Mozilla Firefox iPhone App Brings You ‘Home’ When You’re Really Not

Posted by Juan

We’re one step closer to our mobile phones being Life’s remote control

Firefox Home@Firefox
As we continue to move toward a completely on-the-go/ on-demand society requiring access to multiple forms of communication at all times during the day, wherever we are whether its at the office, in the car, or at the beach.  The truth is Americans don’t want to miss a beat.

Tech companies have been burning the midnight oil to meet the demand.  One such advancement courtesy of Mozilla brings multitasking movers and shakers to the access they enjoy at a desktop only from their mobile phone.  The company has announced its upcoming Firefox Home app for the iPhone.  Nothing complex here but the program will allow users to sync their iPhone Firefox with their desktop version so they can enjoy not only their browsing history, bookmarks but also the active set of tabs from their most recent browser session.

Pretty cool and given the other 200,000+ useless apps currently waiting for you to download at the iTunes app store this one has some actual functionality appealing to everyone from the iPhoning business traveler to the Hollywood socialite to the Small Business owning blogger from Brooklyn.   That’s whats up.
