Although I feel Dr. Dre needs to stop fronting and working so hard on everyone else’s projects to release his own, I can’t help but be a little excited to see the return of Slim Shady.
While the kid might be severely disturbed, most of musical genius are right? And today he unveiled not one but TWO official album cover artworks for his upcoming, highly anticipated Recover album on May 24th. revealing two different versions.
SOUND OFF: What do you think about the mature Eminem? Gone is the pill popping craziness that characterized his earlier work/ life in favor of a much cleaner subdued approach. What do you think he’s trying to say?
If it is anything like his first two LP’s then i gotta give it a listen… as far as the cover, i say go with the one on the right… honestly i don’t care, i haven’t brought a album since i was in the 9th grade and purchased blue print….
I think with the first cover he’s trying to say that he’s inside his own little world for everyone to see. He’s trying to stay away from the pill poppin and be sober and stay focused and everyone is watching his every move.(hence the glass box) As for the second cover, he’s taking his road to redemption via 8-mile lol. I wasn’t too please with Relapse so I hope that Recovery is way better and he’s back on that best rapper alive shitting on everyone else. BUT NO MORE JAMAICAN accents on your songs! Just do you and stop with the dumb celebrity bashing. Thats wack.

@ auchamp22…EM is way better Wayne… Wayne got like 15 albums and only 1 went platinum..lol. To keep it 100. Wayne didnt get Hot intil Ca$h Money signed Gille the Kid. Wanye and Baby paid Gille writing his bars and then he jacked Gill’s whole swagger. Em is his own MC with his own style and swagger and Wanye will never have that.
Every producer and rapper wants to work with wayne… they want to get in the booth with him or put him in a video… I think em had his time and was one of the best, no disrespect at all to him…. Wayne had the block is hot, 500 degrees all of them went hard, when tha carter first dropped, you could play that whole thing from beginning to end…. Carter 2 is simply a classic.. carter 3 was wack because of the hype around it… it wasn’t the wayne that his fans knew and wanted to listen too… it was a mainstream album for Radio and white america…. i know gillie the kid, but where and who is he right now… If em could put out a LP like Marhsall Mathers every time then i would consider him in that conversation as the best…
I cant even believe y’all are having this convo Em and Wayne not even on the same planet. Em was named artist of the decade Wayne has been in the game longer than him and just got hot the other day. C’mon guys study ur history b4 u start making ridiculous statements. Wayne is hot now but we”l be listening to Em 20 yrs. from now.
