CNN’s Larry King Exclusive Interview with Larry King
says his actions that lead to his arrest were motivated by parinoia and depression

Last night (Thursday) recently incarcerated rapper T.I. visited CNN’s “Larry King Live,” and discussed his jail term on weapons possession charges. When asked how he could have come to such a pass, T.I. insisted he was depressed and fearful of retaliation after he witnessed his best friend and assistant Philant Johnson was killed a year arlier.
“My best friend died in my arms, and that kind of caused a state of depression; paranoia. And my judgment was jaded,” he told King. “At the time when I felt the need to have all of these things, I never took into consideration the legalities. I only took it into consideration the protection of my life and my family’s life and my home…“I am not in any way trying to excuse my behavior because it’s unacceptable, and I do realize right now that that was very, very poor judgment on my behalf.”
T.I. says during and even before his time behind bars he was able to clear his head.
T.I. That stands for “Tellin’ It”, as in tellin $hit to the “officials”. How else can a black man get off with a year for havin illegal automatic weapons? ODB went down just for havin a bullet-proof vest—no gun. Plaxico went down for shootin himself. This cat gave somebody up.
