Wall Street Journal’s ‘WalkAbout NY’ Talks Shop With Swizz Beats
With Hip Hop determining not only pop culture but having national ramication, The WSJ inteviews one of its top earners

Producer extraordinaire and Alicia Keys’ future baby daddy, Kasseem “Swizz Beatz” Dean went for a stroll in my old digs on the Upper West Side of Manhattan while being interviewed by a Wall Street Journal for their “Walkabout” webisode spotlight. Although the fairly new segment for the journal is said to feature a more pop celebrity than the traditional cast of characters profiled in the newspaper, the selection of Swizzy was a bit odd considering so many other choices. If anything it serves as a referendum on the dire state of the print format. While on his “Walkabout” talking about his life, career and selling beats he’s mobbed by a group of school children.
