Well go figure, that racially charged email sent by 3rd year Harvard Law student which got the Highbrid Nation all fired up over its assertion that African Americans are somehow genetically less intelligent than their white counterparts was actually leaked as a result of jealousy over a guy.  It was the inaccurate assumption of many, myself included, that the author of the controversial email was a male however as Gawker.com reveals the email not only penned by one Stephanie Grace but also leaked to the Boston Globe by her former close friend turned enemy,  fellow law student Yelena Shagall.

According to Gawker, several months ago Grace, Shagall and a third friend all engaged in a heated debate as they often did over lunch, this time about affirmative action.  Feeling the need to further clarify her points, Grace would later email the group the now infamous remarks emailed around the world including her belief that she could not rule out “the possibility that African Americans are, on average, genetically predisposed to be less intelligent.”

However, early last week, apparently Stephanie confronted Yelena about sleeping with a mutual friend’s ex-boyfriend. Words were exchanged and during the fight, Yelena promised Stephanie she would “ruin her life.”  Initially the mission was limited to posting less than flattering pictures on Facebook but Yelena would eventually dig up the old email and forward it to the Black Law Student Association and the Boston Globe who exposed Stephanie Grace as the email’s author.  As the story broke like a wildfire, the deeply troubled and highly spiteful Yelena reportedly changed her Facebook status to simply read “Karma ”

WOW!  What can I say.  Women intelligent enough to follow in the very hollowed halls that produced the law degree for one President Barack Obama had a friendship only as deep as Yelena’s devilishly spiteful vagina.  While I clearly don’t endorse the views expressed by Stephanie’s email nor do I share her ultra conservative philosophy I can’t help feel sorry for her.  She trusted Yelena and I guess to some degree that’s her own fault but to have her highly coveted clerkship put in jeapordy because she called her then friend out for her slutty behavior is unfortunate.  And while Stephanie is the subject of attention because she transcribed her views, she is a product of the company she keeps.  Yelena herself a member of the Ultra conservative Federalist Society has had a history of herself sharing some unsavory comments only she’s not dumb enough to send them via email.  As my man Bill Clinton found out dick and pussy trump politics in every hand (PUN INTENDED!)
