New Era, Spike Lee Honor the Yankees With new Spike Lee Joint 2.0 Cap
Spike designed fitted pays homage to the 27 World Championships of the New York Yankees.

As a New Yorker whose a Mets fan and doesn’t really like the Knicks I will say my adoration and respect for Spike Lee is limited strictly to his professional accomplishments. That said I’ve always been inspired by his films, entrepreneurship and unquestionable devotion to brooklyn. So when I saw that Spike and New Era were once again teaming up for a new cap collabo I was torn.
The “Spike Lee Joint 2.0″ is the second cap in the “Spike Lee Joint” collection, and pays homage to the dreaded New York Yankees and their painful 27 world championships (the last 5 of which were purchased on eBay 
).
“It’s always an honor and a pleasure to work with a creative force like Spike Lee. The fact that his Yankees inspired commemorative cap coincides with the team’s race for the pennant is an added bonus for any Yankee fan,” said Gerry Matos, Senior VP of Marketing at New Era.
