Ex-Cheetah Girl’s, Kiely Williams’ Video Glorifies Drunk Sex & Walks of Shame

Posted by Juan

Right up the Nation’s alley

@KielysWorld #sex #walkofshame
Ex-Cheetah Girl, Kiely Williams is catching some flack for her new low budget grassroots music video for her single, “Spectacular.”  Why?  Because in the video, starring her, she essentially gets wasted in the club, goes home with some random dude, has sex raw dog, wakes up the next morning hung over but somehow manages to take pride in her walk of shame.  Her excuse? The sex was of course, spectacular

To top it off, she says he could get it again.  lol. Well it didn’t take long before the critics on those blogs way cooler than ours sunk their teeth in.  To defend herself, Williams released a statement via her “publicist”, Courtney Barnes, claiming that her video was a WOMAN’S HEALTH PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT.  You can’t make it up.

I am an actor and performer. I have been so since my first role in a television pilot at five years old. I played a character when I was a “Cheetah Girl.” I am playing a character in the music video for the song “Spectacular,” as I did in the “Cheetah Girl” movies. The fact is, that sometimes women get intoxicated and have unprotected sex. My video puts this issue front and center. It is absurd to infer or suggest that I am condoning this behavior. Are Lady Gaga and Beyonce advocating murder with the “Telephone” video? Of, course not. Was Rihanna encouraging suicide with “Russian Roulette?” No. Was Madonna suggesting that young unmarried girls get pregnant with “Papa Don’t Preach?” I don’t think so. Is Academy Award winner Monique a proponent of incest because of her portrayal of Mary in the movie “Precious.” Clearly, the answer is no. I wrote “Spectacular” and made the video to bring attention to a serious women’s health and safety issue. Don’t shoot the messenger.

First of all this chick has a publicist?  Why didn’t she tell her this video was a bad idea?  Maybe it was part of her genius, figuring it would outrage enough self-righteous bloggers to generate buzz and make her a household name.  For the Nation…its just comedy.  lol.  Chicks making the walk of shame sexy.  SMH.

First of all the song sucks, it sounds like someone produced it on a Commadore 64 and filmed it with a Sony handycam!!!

This video acutally scared me because we live in a world where anything goes, we no longer have a moral conscious. This fool is promoting unprotected, inebriated sex and is now trying to pass it off as a public service announcement. Not like she had much of a career before but this girl needs help….she needs Jesus.

      My sentiments exactly!
Nation, this is Emerson, going with my initials now….does it make me sound more sophisticated? LOL!

I just listened to this song. It’s wasn’t ‘that’ bad. It sounded like 99% of the songs being released today, it’s elevator music. TOTALLY FORGETTABLE. But I can honestly say that I’ve heard MUCH WORSE. I do think it’s funny how she went from being a Cheetah Girl to sexy, vixen all in one leap. But then again I guess she felt she had to do SOMETHING go get people’s attention. Well it didn’t work for Jessie (from Saved by the bell) and I don’t see it working here either… lol

  3. Mr. Bad Guy says:

LOL!!….this song and video should be retitled “Requeim for Fat Disney Checks”!!!!

There are three entities you don’t f@ck with in the entertainment biz. Cosby, Oprah, and Disney. If you do, you might never work again!!!

You know you done f@cked up right!?! Bill Duke style.

I’m actually digging the song, she went out on a limb, but thats what you do when you’re trying to brake into an industry. It’s shocking only b/c she’s a woman, male artists make songs about sex all day everyday and no one says shit.

  5. A girl says:

This song sucks. This is what happens when people you are surrounded by refuse to tell you the truth about yourself. This tells me that she has no real friends and she definitely didn’t tell any of her family members about this prior to doing it.

If she wants to shock and awe people, why doesn’t she try to show us something we’ve never seen from her before…like some talent!

  6. Chelle says:

I saw this a few days ago and so I not gonna get into a speech about the song. BUT I will say this…Its funny just because its her and she obviously has no talent. Will I be bumping this NO but ever since I first heard it I can’t get the shit out of my head lol. Sad song but she’s gonna get played cause its a catchy hook and decent tech beat.
