Dre Confirms ‘Detox’ Dropping This Year, Collabo w/ Jay-Z Streets within Weeks!
It looks like the long awaited album will see the light of day and school the game.
@Amg22 #Detox
During an interview with CNBC to plug his Beats by Dr. Dre headphones, Dr. Dre said his third solo album “Detox.” originally due in 2004, will drop by year’s end.
“I’m definitely putting an album out this year, finally, and I think everyone will be happy with it,” he said. “I’m trying to finish this record, finally get it done and get it out and start promoting it.”
Of course we’ve heard this all before. However, Dre also indicated that the first single is a joint track with Jay-Z titled “Under Pressure,” which is slated to drop within the next few weeks. This would corroborate the rumors of a possible duet following the leaked photograph of the two we posted last week. Dre of course has been busy promoting his new Beats Headphones collabo with Monster Cable, most recently appearing at opening day in Fenway Park for the Red Sox/ Yankees Match up.
