Fox News Uses LL Cool J To Help Promote Sarah Palin Show
Yeh the story is as wild as the headline makes it seem.

Fox News is preparing a new television special hosted by conservative mascot Sarah Palin. To help promote the special Fox is using several celebs such as Toby Keith and LL Cool J. However it appears that at least one of those celebrities, LL Cool J, did not know he was going to be part of the show.
“Fox lifted an old interview I gave in 2008 to someone else & are misrepresenting to the public in order to promote Sarah Palin’s Show. WOW.”
So it seems Fox used footage of LL from another interview and associated it with the Sarah Palin show. The way the show is formatted it has different people tell their stories about why they love America. You know, the type of overly patriotic crap that can make the average “non tea bagger” sort of sick.
Because of LL’s complaining, Fox News has removed the LL segment from the show. If you were wondering what overly patriotic comments LL made…
My family is very pro-American,” he said in the segment. “My grandfather used to sit me in his lap, and we would watch all of the old World War II shows that used to come on, back in the day. I’m totally on it, totally into it, and I love it. My grandfather, even after we said grace, he would say, ‘Chow!’ ”
I was kinda disappointed to hear that his tale was something so lame. I was hoping for something like “I shoot wolves from helicopters” or “Me and my family love to yell ‘baby killer!’ outside of abortion clinics”.
“Real American Stories” hosted by Sarah Palin airs tonight on Fox News and you probably won’t watch it.
Toby Keith, who is also supposed to be interviewed for the show, is claiming the same thing.
Really? I would have thought he’d be completely on board with a project like that.
Which is what makes the situation even more funny. They (fox) have been pumping him up for years, which makes it difficult for them to use the “he’s a has been never-was, good riddance” line that they are with LL.

I don’t know if her show is taped or live, but look for her to use phrases like “when I talked to” or “I interviewed”
Toby lives about 15 minutes. I got to meet him at an OU Tailgating party. He a cool dude and is down to earth.
I had a friend who was in radio for a while. Oh the stories he would tell. I don’t know what was better, the base player from the famous rock group passing out on his sofa or the time he went bar hopping with OJ (post-trial).

As far as the terrorist comment made during the campaign: while not nice, and not true, it WAS a fair game move. They had every right to question the President’s friendship with Ayres, just as much as the Dem’s had the right to question Bush 43’s cocaine use and military history.

But politicians are like any other type of whore: you can’t always blame them for what their clients are thinking. So, if a guy shows up and wants the girl to call him daddy, she’ll do it for the money she’s earning even if she finds it distastful. The same holds true for politicians: they will accept anyone’s vote, even if they don’t agree with anything the voter thinks.
