Did Michael Steele Drop 2Grand of RNC Funds at a Lesbian Strip Joint?
Just how do those hard earned political contributions end up in the G string of “Lady Godiva?”

Ok, Ok I’m done laughing. Sometimes the most serious of professions provide the most comedic relief. Yesterday, the Daily Caller published a report alleging, Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele spent nearly two thousand dollars for “meals” at a lesbian/ S&M themed nightclub in West Hollywood. Additionally the article claims, Steele’s taste include a “lavish lifestyle” on the road often dropping thousands on exorbitant travel arrangements and posh hotels.
“A February RNC trip to California, for example, included a $9,099 stop at the Beverly Hills Hotel, $6,596 dropped at the nearby Four Seasons, and $1,946.25 at Voyeur West Hollywood, a bondage-themed nightclub featuring topless women dancers imitating lesbian sex,” journalist, Jonathan Strong alleges.
Feeling the allegations were important enough to address, RNC spokesman Greg Sargent issued a statement.
“We are investigating the expenditure in question,” says Sargent. “The story willfully and erroneously suggests that the expenditure in question was one belonging to the Chairman. This was a reimbursement made to a non-committee staffer.”
He goes on to say Steele never was in the club nor made such purchases.
SMH. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a republican, Democrat or other, stories like this can’t give you too much confidence in our political process. Especially in these hard economic times where most people are struggling for every penny, it sucks to know that that $50 donation which could have gone to feed your family that you chose instead to donate in hopes of bolstering your parties political agenda wound up crumpled at the base of a lesbian stripper’s 8 inch patent leather stiletto. Where’s the Tea Party and their spit brigade on this one?

Anyway… this story writes itself; and I’m going to leave comments to the hipper members of the nation. HOWEVER… I will say this…. It’s not the worst thing I ever heard of in terms of scandal.

I wonder how this clown felt when members of his Party was spitting on people and yelling racial epithets.

I stopped donating to a charity that I used to give to every year, after I saw a report on some show (might have been 60 mins) about how their chairman spent tens of thousands decorating his office, including a $14,000 desk (that one stuck in my mind)… so this is not surprising…these guys are degenerates, for the most part…if you open up their closets, all kind of skeletons would be falling out!
Its like the Tea Party discussion we were having the other day. Its all about perception. When you have those visible representatives doing bonehead things. It diminished credibility for the lot.
